This years autumn diesel gala on the Severn Valley Railway had a heavy Hydraulic presence which is no bad thing particularly for a westcountry chap who grew up on a diet of Westerns and Hymeks. The only Warships i saw were the 50s or 42s on the scrap line. The temptation of seeing the last two examples both in blue livery in tandem was too much to resist but also just seeing and hearing the twin engine beauties working singley was awesome.
After arriving from Kiddy and shunting herself into the yard at Arley 832 Onslaught shunts back into the station to form the 1815 back to Kidderminster. The station lights add to the atmos as the driver checks his train before departure.
66789 heads this unusual convoy from the Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster running as 0Z43 to Etches Park, prototype HST 41001 and 60095 were in tow.

The little one's rode this all day long first pulled by a pony then by a small steam engine.
