Kevin:
I used to have a really nice pair of roller blades.
I was afraid I'd wreck them...so I kept them in the box.
You know what happened?
Bird Lady:
No
Kevin:
I outgrew them. I never wore them once outside...just in my room a couple of times.
Bird Lady:
A person's heart and a person's feelings...are very different than skates.
Kevin:
Well, they're kind of the same thing.
If you aren't going to use your heart...then what's the difference if it gets broken?
If you just keep it to yourself... maybe it'll be like my roller blades.
When you do decide to try it...it won't be any good.
You should take a chance.
You got nothing to lose.

Kiddo decided she was ready to learn how to cook something warm this morning but was still wary of the stove so we agreed on the electric frying pan.
After a slight disaster with the batter (she mixed up the salt and sugar first time around) she did perfectly well... until the very last pancake when she burned herself. :( Still, she is OK and is looking forward to expanding her cooking from the microwave to the frying pan!
“I'm the kid who has this habit of dreaming. Sometimes gets me in trouble too. But the truth is I could no more stop dreaming, than I could make them all come true.”

Volunteering day, December 12-13 in Thuy An welfare center for orphans, disabilities and elderly. We came there to give them a warm Christmas party and some presents, to help them overcome the hard life they have to endure.
The little girl was going there with her mother, to play game and join the volunteering. She was so cute and innocent that i couldnt help but asking for a pic
