Well, where to start? Possibly one of the most controversial designs of all time, the Nike Air Huarache, first released in 1991, is one of those that people either love or hate, but can never ignore.
Designed by Nike main man Tinker Hatfield, the Huarache was a radical departure from the established paramaters of running shoes, using a neoprene foot liner encased by a rubber strap around the heel. If you've ever worn those ridiculously camp bootees that accompany a wet suit for water skiing and such like, that's the kind of feel you get.
With such a huge sole unit, comfort is high on the agenda, I can testify from having a pair back in the day and now rocking this very recently purchased triple black pair that they are welcome weekend relief for a pair of feet that suffer the ignominity of a nasty cheap pair of safety boots during their working week. Not cheap at ninety quid a throw, but walking down the sea front from home to town today? Worth every last penny...
The Huarache name was borrowed from another type of footwear, a leather thonged sandal favoured much by Mexican Indians. You can see where they were coming from with that. If only I still had that blue, green and white pair that first danced on my feet a quarter of a century ago...

Hello we want to introduce our new project from Russia AJ 5 "Violet" By Maggi for his brand Bogato Moscou. You have already saw our AJ4 Black Python and this is our new work. AJ 5 Burgundy was remade by Italian premium suede in violet color, also was made white stiching and leather borders, the midsole was stiched for better useability and durability along the time. Back upper and tongue from original Burgundy AJ5 so you can compare color and materials. Shoe inside remade with premium leather.
