Back in August I was on a quick visit to Elsinore. It wasn't a great success but I managed to get this shot of Kronborg Castle (the real name of Elsnore Castle from Hamlet).
Elsinore and the castle, which is a museum today, is well worth a visit if you are ever in Copenhagen.
Ambling along the slick rock ridge of White Pocket at sunset is an exercise in walking amount colors.
Coyote Buttes South really is one of those places that defies the imagination. How could natural forces make something that looks so sculpted and perfect?
The river at Bellever Forest on Dartmoor National Park. Bellever Forest is a woodland plantation on the River Dart, a few miles from Postbridge. The forest is now a nature reserve owned by Forestry England, offering walking trails, the chance to see Dartmoor ponies, archaeological sites, and access to Bellever Tor. The forest was begun in 1931 by the Forestry Commission.
I think White Pocket would look fantastic under any conditions but it’s truly spectacular with a bright sunset peaking over the rocks and the brilliant sun truly illuminating the deep colors and hues of the landscape.
No bulls, snakes or other animals were hurt whilst shooting this picture.
I wanted to try the ND filter and this was the only place with a stream of water I could think of in Copenhagen. Heh.

With a Pentax FA 50mm f2.8 Macro and a neutral density filter to slow down the exposure time to 10 seconds, from K&F CONCEPT.
This is a G Clamp on a spinning display stand. The stand has a built-in light on top that doesn't spin.
I went to Sjælsø north of Copenhagen to find some good shots. Having been a while since I last did some work with my DSLR, I first had a "bummer" feeling when I arrived. Too late for all the glory of blue hour, golden hour and sunrise I felt a bit disappointed that I weren't able to drag myself out of bed earlier. However, after having done a few really bad shots, I started getting the vibe of the place and nabbed this shot in which I have applied quite a bit of "artistic freedom" in post to get a look that I really like; I hope I haven't gone overboard.
I only used a sky filter on the lens.

Aprovechando estos días de lluvia y bajo un buen chorrazo de agua pude hacer esta foto.
Sinceramente no es una toma con un gran procesado, simplemente quería captar el tamaño y lo imponente que llega a ser en épocas de lluvia!

I have previously featured some of the trees you see here in an image from Sjælsø, which has become one of my go-to places for shooting and just walking. Here, they display all their autumnal glory in the context of the surroundings. Just wonderful! There is something about trees that draws my gaze!

Noticed the flower when I went by - some sort of orchid? I had no intention of shooting close-ups so I had no tripod and it was also windy so focus could be better. Came out ok? Experimented with bokeh as well.

Después de un buen tiempo, se me presentó la oportunidad de hacer una foto que he tenido siempre en mente, con balas de paja redondas… y casi sin planificación decidí ir al lugar de la última foto con la esperanza de que hubieran cosechado y encontrarme con balas de paja… y al llegar ahí estaban 👏👏. Pues no había tenido tiempo para planificar y salí un poco a la aventura, y por suerte hubo premio!

After a long time, I had the opportunity to take a photo that I have always had in mind, with round straw balls... and almost without planning I decided to go to the place of the last photo in the hope that they had harvested and meet straw bullets... and when I arrived there they were 👏👏. Well, I hadn't had time to plan and I went out on the adventure a little, and luckily there was a prize!

Serra com relevo de aspecto típico, onde os cumes apresentam-se de forma arredondada e em diversos níveis. A vegetação nas encostas apresenta trechos em mata virgem, de médio e alto porte, capoeirões e principalmente rasteira. O trecho mais elevado da RJ 137 chama-se Mirante da Serra, sendo o melhor local para se apreciar a belíssima paisagem que circunda a região, avistando-se desde o Pico do Cavalo Ruço até a Torre da Igreja de Santa Rita de Jacutinga (MG), e de onde se tem uma visão ampla do imenso Vale do Rio Preto. Durante o mês de Julho a temperatura chega a 10 C.
With a Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 55mm f1.7 and a ND8 filter from K&F CONCEPT.
The filter helped here to tone down the very bright parts of the flowers on a lovely sunny day.
