Khlem Aircraft Corporation KF-13B Gaucho
First flown in 1974, the KF-13 was Modec’s most advanced fighter, with a novel digital fly-by-wire to compensate for its naturally unstable, maneuverable airframe. This allowed the aircraft to be a great dogfighter, though it also excelled at air-to-ground roles, with a designated rear-seat weapons systems officer for munitions targeting.
Despite being designed as a cheap, light counterpart to the fund-devouring HiperKILL heavy fighter program, the superiority of the Gaucho quickly became evident.

Based on the F-16B. I had fun building something iconic for once with the B-52 Stratofortress, so I challenged myself to make a model of the United States’ most numerous fighter this time. I thought it would be a quick and small build, with the F-16 being a “light fighter”, yet there are somehow 927 pieces crammed into this thing.
