AURORA, Ill. (Dec. 5, 2011) – Keynote speaker, Rear Adm. David F. Steindl, commander, Naval Service Training Command, gives a speech in front of seven Pearl Harbor survivors at the 42nd Annual Pearl Harbor Day Memorial luncheon in the Gaslight Manor Banquet Hall here Dec. 5. The survivors were the guests of honor at the luncheon. Each served in the Navy or Marine Corps in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941. The 4th International Conference on New Business Models hosted by Florian Lüdeke-Freund and his Chair for Corporate Sustainability at ESCP Europe Berlin brought together 186 business model and sustainability experts from 30+ countries. We saw 100 paper presentations, great discussion panels by Thomas Wunder, Henning Breuer and Romana Rauter, and inspiring keynotes by Stefan Schaltegger, Lorenzo Massa and Nancy Bocken. A big thank-you to Tobias Froese for managing the conference so well!
