auto sensing fibre optic backlit keyboard on the macbook pro :)

It didn't occur to me that the keyboards in France would be different than the keyboards in the U.S. But it should have occurred to me; I guess it makes sense, because the languages are different. But it also makes it really really difficult to type!

This is a picture of my old 12" Powerbook's keyboard.

I guess Swedish people aren't meant to be programmers. Brackets aren't anywhere to be found on this keyboard. It turns out you have to press alt-shift-something to get these typed. Good thing I have a US bluetooth keyboard attached now ;)

The right side of the keyboard

The keyboard on my Macbook along with the brilliant extra large trackpad. I'm loving the dedicated disc eject button - my old iBook didn't have one.

I put my Coloured Tracks photo up on my MacBook Pro's screen and closed it to about halfway so that the picture reflected off the keys. I tried this a few weeks ago but couldn't get the camera still enough but I can now I have my own Gorilla Pod.

Powerbook keyboard, backlit in the dark (ish)

The set of typewriter-like keys that enables you to enter data into a computer. The standard layout of letters, numbers, and punctuation is known as a QWERTY keyboard because the first six keys on the top row of letters spell QWERTY.
