This is a Canon Cat, a rare vintage computer developed by Jef Raskin, who did early work on Apple's Macintosh. I found this in 2001 at a Goodwill store.

It didn't occur to me that the keyboards in France would be different than the keyboards in the U.S. But it should have occurred to me; I guess it makes sense, because the languages are different. But it also makes it really really difficult to type!
I guess Swedish people aren't meant to be programmers. Brackets aren't anywhere to be found on this keyboard. It turns out you have to press alt-shift-something to get these typed. Good thing I have a US bluetooth keyboard attached now ;)
The keyboard on my Macbook along with the brilliant extra large trackpad. I'm loving the dedicated disc eject button - my old iBook didn't have one.
I put my Coloured Tracks photo up on my MacBook Pro's screen and closed it to about halfway so that the picture reflected off the keys. I tried this a few weeks ago but couldn't get the camera still enough but I can now I have my own Gorilla Pod.

F5 is the "refresh this page" button... but the reload hotkey is above F4. Somewhat counterintuitive, I think.
Taken with shutter speed 1/10. F-stop 5. Taken on 8/27/2014. Basic Edit. Key element was color. Key principle was emphasis on keyboard. Fixed color. Shallow depth of field. Light North. Subject Keyboard.
