Deze kerstbal hangt elk jaar in onze boom en is een van mijn favorieten. Mijn partner heeft hem ingebracht en we wonen nu al 35 jaar samen.
Mooie kerstdagen voor jullie allemaal.
This bauble hangs on our tree every year and is one of my favorites. My partner put it in and we've been living together for 35 years now.

Bij kerstfeest hoort een mooie versierde boom, waar ik altijd druk mee was. Dit jaar heeft mijn man hem versierd en hoefde ik er alleen maar een foto van te maken. :-)
At Christmas comes a beautifully decorated tree. I always decorated the tree, but this year my husband decorated it and all I had to do was take a picture of it. :-)

In een fraai winterzonnetje op deze 2de kerstdag mocht de VSM 52 8139 vandaag de glühwein/winterrit rijden.

Waarschijnlijk mijn laatste upload van 2020, ook van de prachtige "kerst" skyline van mijn woonplaats Deventer.
Omdat het pro-abonnement van Flickr mij te duur werd ben ik onlangs gedowngrade naar de standaard versie. Daarom ook minder ruimte voor nieuwe foto's. Af en toe zal ik wat plaatsen en ook zoveel mogelijk de contactfoto's bekijken. Iets minder activiteit van mijn kant dan voorheen.
Alle Flickr members wens ik een Voorspoedig 2021.
Op 17 en 18 december rijdt de VSM een pendeltrein tussen Arnhem en Ede. Maar door een defect aan loc 23 071 is de hulp ingeroepen van de 23 023 van de SSN. Hier staat de trein gereed voor de laatste slag richting Ede van de zaterdag.
Vorige week hebben we de kaars beplakt met een servet en vandaag heb ik het kerststukje gemaakt.

Hoog Catharijne is a largely covered shopping center, office and residential complex, partly falling in the city center of the Dutch city of Utrecht. It runs from Stationsplein, to Vredenburg and houses hundreds of shops, halls, offices and homes.
Hoog Catharijne was officially opened on 24 September 1973.
In 2012, the renovation of Hoog Catharijnen started because the shopping center was considerably outdated and, if all goes well, will be ready in 2020.
Here you see a part that is already finished with the decorations for the holidays.

The earliest mill built on this land was built by Johann Heinrich Kersten in 1725. Kersten shortened his name to Kerst as many immigrants did to make for easier pronunciation. The current mill was built in 1841, a 40'x 55' limestone mill standing 3.5 stories and covered with stucco. The head race is fed from Manatawny Creek and the tail race empties into the pond. The mill is located on Bertolet Mill Road near the intersection with Kauffman Road in Oley, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
I made this photo back in September of 2014 during my 4x5 for 365 project but for whatever reason, never posted it or so it seems.
Technical details:
Toko 4x5 wooden large format field camera.
150mm F6.8 Rodenstock Geronar lens in Copal BT shutter.
Ilford Delta 100 B&W film, shot at ISO 80.
1/8th second at F32.
Developed in Pyrocat HD at 1:1:100 dilution for 8 minutes @ 20 degrees Celsius in Jobo Multitank 5 with 2509N sheet film reels with drum placed on Unicolor Uniroller 352 auto-reversing rotary base.
Negative scanned with Epson 4990 on holders fitted with ANR glass.
