Things bubble and sometimes pop. The pandemic may have been the hard reset Basel needed. Only the dedicated and few made it out. It reminded me of Basel's humble beginnings when there seem to be a true sense of community. Looking forward to more normal times in 2021.

In 2018 on our cross country graffiti bender, we found this abandon town in the desert, which actually ended up being a federal prison for white collar crime. It was nicked named the "country club" because prisoners could move freely about the compound. There were tennis courts, pools and even a theater. This prison even allowed inmates to leave and come back. Unfortunately in 2019 the government flattened the entire prison town. We were fortunate to revisit it a number of time before it went under the bulldozers blade.

We originally started out with the idea of having a "Genie", which quickly turned into "Zoltan" from the movie Big. As the day passed it started looking like "Heavy Lox" staring in a Free Tibet PSA. Add more booze to the equation it turned into the Dance Hall "Swami". At days end we ran a ground and it became an amalgamation of nonsense ... sorry Heavy! The soft ball team was out in full effect today. Cynic, Skary, Typo, Jimbo, Task, Sonik, Yeti, and Soem..... An all star cast. Will post connector later......
