2005 PRWA Hurricane Katrina Relief

Katrina Cain, University of North Texas Alumna, is a singer-songwriter who was recently featured on The Voice. Cain is also part of Tomkat, a Denton based band compromised of other UNT alumni.

This is where the majority of the water entered New Orleans proper. It's the flood wall along the 17th Street canal that separates the Crescent City from Metairie.

I travelled up the highway to cover their preparations in family homes in Sunbury, before we all convened at Witchmount for a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the early Spring sunshine.

This photo was taken by a man in Magee, MS where the eye of hurricane Katrina passed thru. Magee is 150 miles North of Waveland, Mississippi where the Hurricane made land fall.

I didn't quite understand this figure, but whatever.
