Several dolphins from Marine Life in Gulfport were found in the Gulf injured, but alive. Under police escort and followed by TV crews, including mine, they were taken to the pool at a Gulfport hotel.

This is where my dad and I stayed for two nights. There was a field hospital set up under one of the tents, and other people were sleeping in tents set up in the parking lot.
It'll be some time before anything grows in the flooded areas of town. Grass is all dead, trees, flowers, bushes. All brown.
