few hrs. ago i took a new work colleague to show round Katara/ Doha, as we got to the waterfeature, 8 big robotic gadgets popped out of the water and started sprayin water in wonderful patterns, the light cannons in there too started firing different colour beams at the water changing its colour.
While colleague rushed firing selfies, i shot few like this but different patterns and colours.
( i will be posting more, but one at a time) ,
I've taken many photos in the last few months so i'm posting more than 1 a day 😐.
This one is of Abraj Qatar, (translated means Qatar towers). There's 12 of them, this shows 5, the 2 in the middle and 3 red ones to the right (which change colour between red, green and blue.

It is used for different kinds of events and celebrations.
Structures on the side of the stairs belong to the sports complex.
Katara Pigeon Towers, Doha, Qatar.
Pigeon towers can be found in various shapes and sizes all over the Middle East. Their use dates back to the Middle Ages, if not earlier. Far from being a pointless hobby, the towers provided farmers with much-needed fertilizer. They were built from logs and mud.
The Golden Masjid or the Golden Mosque in Doha, Qatar, stands out as a remarkable religious and historical landmark. Constructed in the Ottoman architectural style, this mosque showcases exquisite craftsmanship with its outer walls adorned using golden mosaic tesserae. Mosaic was manufactured in Italy, Ravenna, and then transported to Qatar.
