Year after year the attempt to photograph this bird happens and I failed every time and this used to be my nemesis bird !! Not now and today am happy that am closing a tough year with some species that are on top of my target list ..

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than frames I love !!! this bird and the years it took for a frame is the best !!!

I remember the day when I met this little one and I was awed by her beauty 😍 She was a picture of innocence and charm. Her cheeks were kissed by the cold, giving them a rosy glow and her large expressive eyes twinkled with curiosity. She greeted us with a shy yet warm smile. Her presence was a blend of natural beauty and the serene tranquility of the Kashmir valley

A little Kashmiri girl from a Govt. High School in Laripora Kalan (Pahalgam), wearing a black hijab, resting her head on a wooden railing outside her class, eyes innocent and gleaming, face looking so happy, lips ready to smile, her roses and peaches complexion. Special permission was taken from the school administration to shoot these children while studying, playing and other school activities. It turned out to be such a pleasure shooting such enthusiastic children and interacting with them. More photos coming soon!

The shikara is a type of wooden boat found on Dal Lake and other water bodies of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Shikaras are of varied sizes and are used for multiple purposes, including transportation of people. A usual shikara seats half-a-dozen people, with the driver paddling at the rear. Like the Venetian gondolas, they are a cultural symbol of Kashmir. Some shikaras are still used for fishing, harvesting aquatic vegetation (usually for fodder), and transport, while most are covered with tarpaulins and are used by tourists

A group of pretty Kashmiri ladies enjoy a lovely day out in the Tulip Gardens ,Srinagar

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is a tulip garden in Srinagar, the capital of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia, spread over an area of about 74 acres. It is situated at the base of the Zabarwan mountain range, built on 7 terraces with an overview of the Dal Lake. The garden was opened in 2007 with the aim to boost floriculture and tourism in the Kashmir valley. About 1.75 million tulip bulbs in multiple colours were brought from Keukenhof Gardens, Amsterdam. Besides 75 varieties of tulips the garden is home to 46 varieties of other flowers including daffodils, ranunculus and hyacinths.

The rows of vibrant tulips in all shades lined with fruit and magnolia trees in blossom and the majestic mountains in the background is truly a breathtaking sight.

When we were in Kashmir barely a month back everything was peaceful and thousands of tourists from India and some from abroad were enjoying the incredible beauty of this amazing valley. Now this peace lies shattered by terrorist bullets and sadly it will be the people of Kashmir who will be the most affected. Tourism is the major industry and it will definitely receive a huge setback because of this tragic incident.

Seen through the grilled window, this angelic face of a little Kashmiri girl wearing hijab sitting in her classroom, of a Govt. High School in Laripora Kalan (Pahalgam), with her classmates. She sits so engrossed in listening to what the teacher is saying while the rest of the children look distracted and busy doing something else. Special permission was taken from the school administration to shoot these children while studying, playing and doing other school activities. It turned out to be such a pleasure shooting such enthusiastic children and interacting with them.

One Kashmiri morning in the early spring of 1915, my grandfather Aadam Aziz hit his nose against a frost-hardened tussock of earth while attempting to pray. Three drops of blood plopped out of his left nostril, hardened instantly in the brittle air and lay before his eyes on the prayer-mat; transformed into rubies. Lurching back until he knelt with his head once more upright, he found that the tears which had sprung to his eyes had solidified, too; and at that moment, as he brushed diamonds contemptuously from his lashes...

India is a sexually repressive society. It is not easy to find a sex partner. Fortunately soft porn Hindi films* provide some solace to baser instincts.
