An important example of late Ottoman architecture in the city. Decorations on wooden balcony at the south facade and the pec systems that heats the interior are most striking architectural features of the building. The mansion was used by Gazi Ahmet Muhtar Pasha as headquarters in the Ottoman-Russian war of 1877-1878. It was restores and reopened as a Gallery of Fine Arts in 2001. It was registered and placed under preservation status.
