Медовые водопады — группа из пяти водопадов на реках Аликоновка и Эчки-Баш в Малокарачаевском районе Карачаево-Черкесии. Ближайший населённый пункт — Коммунстрой. Расстояние до села Учкекен — 8 км, до города Кисловодск — 10 км.
Водопады находятся в Аликоновском ущелье — глубоком каньоне, прорезающим Скалистый хребет Северного Кавказа. Лучи солнца, попадающие в ущелье, окрашивают водную пелену целой палитрой радужных красок.
Большой Медовый водопад срывается в Аликоновское ущелье с боковой скалы из речки Эчки-Баш с высоты 18 метров, и разбивается внизу сотнями бриллиантовых брызг. В ясную погоду лучи солнца пронизывают водяные струи водопада, а у подножия, где разбрызгиваются водяные струи, часто играет радуга.

On a business trip by car, we had very little time, but we were eager to see Mount Elbrus from the Caucasus Mountains. Unfortunately, we didn't get a clear view, as the weather turned bad when we reached the Bermamyt plateau, and a thick fog enveloped the area. It was impossible to see anything beyond a distance of 3 meters. Occasionally, the wind would clear the clouds, and we would find ourselves on the edge of a precipice. As we watched, hundreds of birds (Red-billed Chough) would take flight from the cliffs and disappear into the mist.
В рабочей поездке на машине, было очень мало времени, но большое желание посмотреть на Эльбрус с Кавказских гор. Конечно мы ничего не увидели, потому что, когда мы добрались до плато Бермамыт, погода испортилась и все окутало туманом. Невозможно было рассмотреть ничего на расстоянии 3 метров. Иногда ветер немного сносил облака и ты осознавал себя на краю пропасти. Рассмотрев нас птицы (клушица) сотнями срывались со скал и терялись в тумане.

"Belalakaya" (Bela-ak-kaya) means striped rock in Cherkess language. Owes its name to several bands of white quartz with a thickness of up to 50 m.

I made this photo after three hours of our way. This place is located on height near 1925 meters above sea level. There was very poor visibility near at the first baduk lake,that's why i couldn't make photo of this lake.
