The swedish forest bag ended up trendy. It still includes a sitting pad!

"Nostalgia in reverse, the longing for yet another strange land, grew especially strong in spring."

― Vladimir Nabokov

out there is where I find small pieces of myself

Not far from Paulina's home I discovered a little forest path where I lingered for a while before we let the only full day I had in Münster fade away with a home cooked meal and a few of her friends. :)

I feel the memories of these places deep in my heart in between raindrop reflections mixed with the sound of my sole feet on the forest ground. Sometimes my thoughts are quietest when I am on my own.

We stumbled upon this light-filled forest before we visited my family in mid November.

I have always loved the mood of the time of day when everyone retreats into their houses and the windows are slowly lighting up. :)

Inês in Notting Hill

6/7 Seven days in B&W from my daily life with things I often take for granted.

Whenever I noticed feeling sad about these few days I spent with my friends coming to an end, I tried to be in the moment more and enjoy it for what it was right when it was happening. Experiencing the hike on our second day through Julian’s son’s eyes helped me so much to focus on what was right in front of me and not get lost in thoughts about things that would be happening after this holiday was over.

And it’s crazy how happy a little hand in yours and an honest smile can make you.

(Daniel captured this)

I most often use a Kånken to carry my gear, but now it needs some repair; I don't want to lose my gear if the bottom should happen to bust open.

So, I pulled out my Tenba (love this bag).

It is bigger than the Kånken and with plenty of padded protection if I should slip and fall (I've done that).

Plenty of space and dividers. Pockets on the outside. the Shoulder strap is easy to use with the pad having a grippy surface.

Update Aug 2021

I still love this bag. But, what I put inside it has changed over the last 2-3 years.

most of the time

it’s just a thought

that comes and goes

but sometimes

it’s that queasy feeling

that creeps up on you

and before you know it

it settles in

and becomes a part

the day a light September wind and the warming sun awakened in me a sense of anticipation for the upcoming fall season

Do you ever pause and think about what kind of person you are at this moment in time?

how to change a thing.
