A stonker of a night with Chris T up int thills and a new location for me. A whopper of a cave with the slippiest rocks I've ever laid my feet upon.
Chris went first and bagged a peach then I grabbed this one for the pot.
Loads of vaping followed by a pop of flash and let the laser burn in for 12 seconds. Rotate camera 180 degrees and repeat.
Cheers buddy for another great night and here's to the next one.

Pcb, refocus then laser, a chuff of vape, a splash of flash, a zoom pull, then change gels and another chuff of vape and a final splash of the flashes ....bosh.

Flash fired via yongnuo radio triggers on 1/8 power about 10 inches behind the backing cardboard fired towards the subject.
Into lightroom and had a bit of a tinker with the tones, dropped the shadows and bumped the highlights.

Original plan to meet dan called off due to rain,so beer and a simple indoor faff the order of the night....blast of vape and laser ,then a torch for the shadow, lit the side of the figurine with a gelled green torch,followed by a couple splashes of the flash, and another dash of vape......Gasmark F16 for 54.2 seconds.

I've been after a vape ring shot for a while and as the ideas bank was dry I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'd imagined it with the ring head on at 2.8 for a nice blurry me in the background but that wasn't working. I'd have carried on but I was getting a little light headed. Socked and skirted beauty dish out again directly in front of me pointing down about a foot above my head @1/64 power. I struggle a bit on the processing side of things with shots of me. I just prefer this type of look rather than exposing all of my head properly. I find it brings much more drama this way. I tried bringing up the shadows and blacks but it just doesn't strike a chord with me. Anyway, I'm waffling.

Hit apon an idea yesterday to light the xenomorph, using the iridescent paper to give the figure a more realistic insect quality. Did try a few diffrent versions but ended up keeping it simple as too many other light sources ruined the iridescence.
All the lightpainting was done in one 30 second or so exposure, by hand lighting the figurine with a small torch and the rainbow paper to get some nice colours reflecting on the skin, then a blast of vape and a pop of gelled flash, diffused and set to full power behind.
Chucked it in photoshop to remove a few spots of dust on the flooring and into lightroom for a bit of vignetting , slight contrast boost and watermark.
More indoor lens capped multi exposure faffing using the same set up the previous shot. Quick expose of the ipad,removed and refocused for the figurine, hand lit the figurine with a green gelled torch. then a couple of pops of two flashes, one diffused,rear,gelled blue on full power at 80mm and another left, gelled red on 1/128 power at 24mm with a quick blast of vapour,quick zoom pull and a couple more pops of the left flash again.

The Vamo V5 is a reasonably priced VV/VW APV. Its generally held in high regarded by vapers for its ease of use and performance. Kanger are the first coils that were used in all tanks which launched before Kanger Protank V3. Hence, Any tank before Kanger Protank V3 are compatible with these coils. This coils/atomisers are shorter in length compared to Dual Coils heads (see above). It looks same in picture unless put together with dual coils head, then it will be clearly visible that the shaft of atomiser is shorter than the dual coils.
