Über pflanzliches Wachstum brauchen wir uns in diesem Jahr in
-firliecounty- nicht beschweren. Dank des "ausreichenden" Regens und dann wieder Sonne wird der Mais wohl 3,01 Meter hoch werden. Was ich hier bei mir völlig vermisse, sind diese herrlichen Gerstefelder mit allerlei Blühendem darin.
.... gut das "Erinnerungen" gibt !
In June, wildflowers like the poppies and chamomile in the picture are a big photographic subject for me, today an impression from the Moselle valley near Trier.

Im Juni sind für mich Wildblumen wie im Bild der Klatschmohn und die Kamille ein großes fotografisches Thema, heute eine Impression aus dem Moseltal bei Trier.

A flower emerges from a cornfield. A bit of structure in a tangle of ears of corn And since the field around her has taken on a rich golden yellow hue in the last few days and weeks, she now stands out with her bright green, yellow and white.
Next door you can still see the blue of a few scattered cornflowers, but they are too small to really attract attention. No, today she alone is the star.
A few weeks ago, when the corn was still green, she was a hidden beauty. But now she has her big appearance and is in the limelight of the setting sun, the beautiful chamomile.
Eine Blume ragt aus einem Kornfeld hervor. Ein bisschen Struktur in einem Gewirr aus Ähren. Und da das Feld um sie herum in den letzten Tagen und Wochen einen satt goldgelben Farbton angenommen hat, hebt sie sich mit ihrem leuchtenden grün, gelb und weiß nun ganz besonders daraus hervor.
Nebenan sieht man noch das blau von ein paar verstreuten Kornblumen. Doch die sind zu klein um wirklich aufzufallen. Nein, heute ist sie allein der Star.
Vor ein paar Wochen, als das Getreide noch grün war, da war sie eine versteckte Schönheit. Doch nun hat sie ihren großen Auftritt und steht im Rampenlicht der untergehenden Sonne, die schöne Kamille.

The landscape between Plaidt and Ochtendung in the Eastern Eifel is characterized by the mining of minerals of volcanic origin (e.g. basalt, pumice, tuff, etc.). In the middle of it lies the Wernerseck castle ruins and fields that are used again for agriculture after the minerals have been extracted.
Die Landschaft zwischen Plaidt und Ochtendung in der Osteifel ist geprägt vom Abbau von Mineralstoffen vulkanischen Ursprungs (z.B. Basalt, Bims, Tuffstein etc.). Mitten drin liegt die Burgruine Wernerseck und immer wieder Felder, die nach der Ausbeute der Mineralien wieder landwirtschaftlich genutzt werden.
Durch die dunkelgold'gen Garben
Leuchten fröhlich bunte Farben, Blumen, die die Mahd versäumten
Blicken müde mit verträumten Grossen Augen in das Feld.
Weisse Schmetterlinge streichen
In den milden, sommerweichen
Blumendüften auf und nieder,
Und der Bienen leise Lieder
Wiegen in den Schlaf die Welt...

Not far from home yesterday morning. For me, this field with a mix of cornflowers, corn poppies and wild chamomile combined with the sunny weather is the epitome of a summer day.
We have been waiting a long time for this this year.
Gestern Vormittag nicht weit von zu Hause. Für mich ist dieses Feld mit einer Mischung von Kornblumen, Klatschmohn und wilder Kamille in Verbindung mit dem sonnigen Wetter der Inbegriff eines Sommertages.
Da haben wir dieses Jahr auch lange drauf gewartet.

This is my last post for the next two weeks as I'm leaving for the Allgäu with my family tomorrow. It is our first real tour with our small, new / old camper (built in 2004, bought in the spring).
I would like to say goodbye with a grandiose composition that no painter could have done better. I chose a close-up because if I'm lucky, I'll bring back a lot of landscape shots with a wide perspective from my vacation.
It's a real firework of colors that I found here right on the side of the road. Cornflowers, chamomile and poppies mix to create a wonderful picture. And then in front of a dreamy summer sky.
I wish you all a nice time, nice weather and many great experiences. So then my friends until the days.
Das ist mein letzter Post für die nächsten zwei Wochen, da ich mich Morgen mit meiner Familie auf den Weg ins Allgäu mache. Es ist unsere erste richtige Tour mit unserem kleinen, neuen / alten Camper (Baujahr 2004 im Frühjahr gekauft).
Ich möchte mich mit einer grandiosen Komposition verabschieden, die kein Maler hätte besser machen können. Ich habe mich für eine Nahaufnahme entschieden, denn wenn ich Glück habe, werde ich aus meinem Urlaub viele Landschaftsaufnahmen mit einer weiten Perspektive mitbringen.
Es ist ein wahres Feuerwerk an Farben, was ich hier direkt am Strassenrand gefunden habe. Kornblumen, Kamille und Mohnblumen mischen sich zu einem wundervollen Bild. Und das dann auch noch vor einem traumhaften Sommerhimmel.
Ich wünsche Euch allen eine schöne Zeit, schönes Wetter und viele tollen Erlebnisse. Also dann meine Freunde, bis die Tage.
