Vas'ka likes to sit in front of the TV near the dining table and often asks to taste what we eat. He loves cottage cheese, cream and, of course, sausages.

Vas'ka was very dominant pet in our house when we had Mot'ka. And often we called Vas'ka Hoolign and Bandit, when he offended Motka. But now the dog and the cat have changed roles, Yashka is stronger and more often he offends the cat than Vas'ka offends him. And we often shout at Yashka: "Don't touch the Kotick" (Kotik is an affectionate, diminutive name for a cat).

Vas'ka has very expressive eyes. But sometimes he looks like a little bit crazy, It always ends with funny jumps and grimaces, as if he deliberately makes us laugh. That is why I like this picture.

When Vas'ka was a kitten, he was very fond of playing with this toy dog. But now he does not have to play with any soft toys, because Yashka immediately takes them away from him.

Vas'ka advises to wait out the heat this way: to sleep in the house during the day, and in the evening to sleep in the patio, on the stones heated in the afternoon. That is, sleep 24 hours a day! :-)

Mot'ka is a cowardly dog when we walk in parks. But at home and on the lawn in front of our row of houses he can rush to any big dog and chase her away :-)

Ka’ena Point, the northwestern most tip of the Hawaiian island of O’ahu, is to my back here. This smallish triangle of land at the point of the island is fenced off to protect the Laysan albatross nesting colony in front of me from predators that would raid their nests and eat their eggs.
