"One of the many, bustling downtown business streets in this modern and fast-growing capital city of 'The Golden State'."
Freshly restored steam loco K-190 steams slowly along 1A track at Melbourne's Spencer Street Station, waiting for her train carriages to be docked in platform 1. This was the first public train that the loco would haul and would travel from Melbourne to Moorabool and return via Geelong both ways.
2-8-0 K-190 was built by the Victorian Railways Newport Workshops in 1943. She remained in service until around 1970 when she was dumped at Bendigo, 100 miles north-west of Melbourne. In 1978, the loco was made roadworthy and was hauled to Melbourne at slow speed. She was then restored to service and painted in this green colour-scheme. As of 2015, the loco continues in rail-tour duty service however it is now painted in an all over black colour-scheme with a red buffer beam. 11:45am, Sunday the 23rd of September, 1979.

Sunshine is falling Over my head
Turtle doves are calling "Good morning, friends";
And I got the prettiest girl in the whole wide world
And nobody can take her from me
And in the evening when she goes out walking alone
I wait at home patiently
I've never been so happy
I've never been so sure

This store was built in 1993 as a Kmart. This Kmart was a larger store at 133,684 square feet. In 2001 this store was converted into a Super Kmart without the building being expanded. In 2009, the grocery section was removed and replaced with a Sears Outlet. The Kmart side became part of the short-lived K Dollar concept in very late 2012 or early 2013. The entire store was closed in December 2013.
