Race Replica
The Supra came to the end of the model life with its 4th generation, released in May 1993. This final model was totally redesigned as a sports car with superlative performance, not only in terms of driving but also in terms of the environment and safety. Its hatchback coupé body with a 2+2 seat arrangement was shorter than its predecessor. The engine was either a 3.000 cc 6-on-line DOHC 24v 225 PS unit or its twin-turbo version producing 280 PS. In motor sports, the Supra participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, and also in the Super GT series in Japan in the GT 500 class. The Supra remained active in motor sports until 2005, long after its production ended in 2002. The model shown is a non-turbo version. It was upgraded to race look-a-like but with an original TRD kit.

It's been a while in the making to say the least, but finally the Supra is d o n e
Wait nvm i forgot the wing mirrors
Yes, here we are, another MK4 Toyota Supra, a car that certainly no stranger to the Lego community, this is the 3rd time I've built one. But that's not so much down to having a deep burning love for the supra - is a bit thicc for my liking. Last year I updated my Delta, which was more of a facelift than anything. However i wanted to do a proper update, a total rebuild. And what better model than my aggressively ok Toyota Supra, built in 2013, with incredible features such as a missing engine, and taillights that look liked its melted half way down its arse
But whom'st've is a mk4 Toyota Supra? The Supra is a front engined, RWD Sports Car/GT deriving from the Celica and 2000GT. The supra went through 4 generations, the last easily being one of the most iconic of the 90's japfest golden era. Long gone are the wedgey bois of the previous to generations, the styling of the mk4 was far more rounded, aggressive, and intensely 90's. It was highly anticipated model, an it didn't disappoint. The mk4 was immensely popular, and for good reason. MK4 used yet another inline 6 engine, and what an engine that was. As stock, the 2JZ engine was enough to make the supra as fast is it's other Japanese rivals (such as the 3000gt and 300zx) and even European ones (like the 911 Turbo and Aston DB7). However the engines far more well know for its tuning capabilities, and is one if not the most popular engine among tuners. The Supra itself became very popular for tuning too, and had a star role in Fast and Furious, which made the car even more iconic. Along with gt500 racing and the Tom's Castrol Supra, the Supra is an incredibly famous car
But not an easy one to build. This certainly had its fair share of troubles, especia-ESPECIALLY THE HEADLIGHTS. I have been permanently damaged by those. But this is m favourite and rpoudest work since the Python. I hope you enjoy, this may be the last large scale for a while, I know I've been inactive and slacking recently, hopefully I can still stick around
