Sometimes the before-goingtobed-justshowered-bathroomchilling is really an enjoyable thing . Time for your own, thinking about things, the warm showering-air around you... =)
A big bonus to that is when you know exactly what´s on tomorrow and that you will be able to wake up by yourself, chill it out, have a breakfast etc... just no stress at all =)
Back to the mini blinds. My house is such a mess, this is the only place I could really take my SP today without doing some major clean up or heading outside. I was too lazy to get out the tripod so I balanced my camera on top of my overflowing clothes hamper. March 11 71/366
I'm an introvert, and I've always been very aware and okay with this fact. I love spending time by myself, and would prefer to work alone than in a group any day. Some of my favorite moments are spent alone in the studio, working with my hands, listening to music. Or relaxing in my room, drinking tea and enjoying the sunlight through the window.
Sometimes I feel bad for being this way, because it tends to push others away or make them feel unwanted, when it's the exact opposite. I just require so much time to myself to function. I get anxiety if I can't spend time alone.
It's frustrating.
But today is great.

Okay, I got tagged to do a selfie by three of my Flickr friends, Kim, Jade and Julianna.
This shot was taken right after my shower this morning. I am not a morning person and it usually takes me at least a couple of hours to get "with it" after I wake up. I haven't had my cup of tea or my breakfast yet...so this is not me at my best, but it's real and it's about as good as it's going to get this morning!
Off to get that cuppa tea now! And if you are tagged you, you've got to snap a SP right away, if you've already been tagged, just ignore!

So as much as I'd like every 365/self portrait to be crazy, artistic, beautiful and all that, sometimes reality hits, and it's just time to be real.

Another day off today, and absolutely loved it. I got to take a wonderfully long shower with lots of lingering and singing along to my iPod speakers and scrubbing my hair. It was another perfect day off. Horses, more horses, some kitty lovin' and a long shower.
Also, on a side note- when back in high school, I hated my hair after I showered. I thought it to be unruly and too wavy. It'd shoot off in all these random directions with no warning and then dry that way, as if it were laughing at my frustration. Now, when my hair starts to dry after a shower, I look at it with love. I love the way it falls and the way it curls, and I love how thick and voluptuous it is.
I've got some seriously good hair, and I'm so glad I appreciate it more now that I did a few years ago. I got really lucky in that department, if NOTHING else.
