Inspired by how he looks in the "justice league: throne of atlantis" film.
I went for a simple and clean design and tried to get it in the feel of lego.
The headgear is custom sculpted by me and it is removable. The blaster arm is a studshooter with the handle cut of and then glued on to a shortened arm.
Everything is painted by me as usual.
Hope you will like it!
A character I've wanted to make for a long time. It's based on how he appears in young justice.
My next figure will be delayed since I'm completely out of black paint.
The helmet is sculpted by me over a classic space helmet and the cape is made of electrical tape. The rest is painted by me.
He's one of the core seven of the Justice League and the other six are like beloved siblings to him. They get along great at times, and disagree and fight at others, but they always have the bond.
Aquaman: (thinking) This seems a good spot. It should give enough distance for me to rally the aquatic life I want with me and warn the rest away before I reach the target.
They all consider him the "fish guy". Superman just said that this was 'his area' * because it involves the water. It's an unintentional marginalization by his friends, and Aquaman doesn't necessarily like it but here, at this moment as he plunges in, he smiles as they're right.
The water embraces him. His physiology immediately adjusts to accept the water rather than air into his lungs. And, though he can function in either environment quite well, this is what feels more natural.
Aquaman: (thinking) Good, the creatures are responding. I don't want any harmed. ... ... And, what's this? Several entities ahead. They are sentient. I can feel them telepathically. But they are rejecting my probe. Hostiles. Here we go.

En Temiscira, las Amazonas protegen un cubo conocido como Caja Madre. El cubo ha estado latiendo con energía recientemente, reactivada de una fuente desconocida. Hint for one of them: I didn't throw away the lightningbolts from the flashcowl I turned into bleezs helmet.
Had hoped to find some snowdrops (Schneeglöckchen) but they had only buds, no blossom. Came across these winter aconites (Winterlinge) AND the sun came out for a short moment!

Here's my lego Felix Faust, I think he's an improvement from my last one. I may change the blue to a lighter shade like in Lego DC Supervillains. Not too sure what the cauldron is I just copied it from an image on the DC Wiki.

From Cowboys to Knights to Pirates, naturally the next step was to take the JLA to Feudal Japan! :)
These were a real challenge to design. Getting that nice balance of comic source materials and authentic Shogun aesthetics was tough. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter are probably the biggest departures from their original designs, but I think they still work pretty well when part of the group.
