Panda...the reddest red Panda of them all in SL, is becoming a most wonderful friend. Tonight we took "Divine Memory" to Siren's cove just to....float...and talk...and smile.... lots of smiles!

She is so bright, kind, caring and cheery. Also taken - but in the best of ways, so that makes me happy. It is nice to be friends.

It was also nice to get Divine out and bust a bad memory up while piloting her. I am moved way past Becca now. I am glad she will never be back in my life - or on my damn boat again! ;-)

Panda has listened to the saga and offers a cute elf ear to hear me always and not just to stories about bad exes, but other things in my life. I find I enjoy leaving audio clips for her in Discord to hear as I hope to make her smile. It usually works ;-)

Everyone likes a good story after all and "Flotsam and Jetsam" tonight were definitely writing a new chapter in their friendship. Thank you for being my friend Panda. I look forward to more adventures with you :-)

For months I had wanted to take my dear friend Panda out ballroom dancing and for reasons unknown to both of us, we never did...

Until tonight :-)

It was her Birthday last week and my 18th Resday, so we celebrated together at Franks Elite which DEFINES "Ballroom" in Second Life truly.

She wore a most princess poofy gown I had gifted her and I put on my finest suit so we could step out properly. Of course we dressed colours to match without knowing we were as we always do ;-)

I dipped and twirled her about. She sashayed, curtsied and moved in perfect time in response to me.

What a wonderful night :-)

I am so lucky and glad we are such good friends.

All I have is these pictures to try to remember it all...

I miss my friend Meghan...I miss being on the water with her...just drifting... we were friends and no one ever believed that...

I've not been well in that pesky "Real Life" place lately. A combination of fibro pain and "bad brain" have left me sore, exhausted and at times exasperated.

I haven't been able to be with my in world friends as often as I would like.

Luckily I was able to make "Scary Story Time" at the BBK Library and Panda was more then happy to let me cuddle up with her so I could let go of the RL worries for a few hours as we listened to Cinder weave her tales of spooky, scary times in the funnest of ways.

Panda is a dear friend who seems to understand when my body/brain in RL let me down. She is more then happy to hang out when I am feeling able enough to come in world and I treasure that so much.

She is a wonderful confident, sage in advice, quick with a wry sense of humour and most important of all:

Chance stopped in for the night to stay with me in my cabin at Turtle Mountain. A warm duvet and a hot Chance make for a rather cozy and safe place for the night that makes the snow storm outside seem miles away :-)

I have a wonderful friend who I treasure more then my own self. I say that because despite all odds against them they have fought a helluva demon that still likes to taunt and try to drag them back into Hell. The same demon took my Dad from me...

Each time I see or talk to them, I feel blessed for I never know if I might not see them again...or used to...they fight harder now and the Demon's taunts and seductions get quieter for them...I don't worry as much as I used to.

They aren't who they were now. They are much better. They are stronger.

Chance and I "chanced" upon each other last night. We are growing closer as friends. We both happened to be readying for bed, She agreed to sleep over with Hobbes and I as Hobbes is a very Brave and Handsome Tiger.

We miss our Katie so very much, but know that she can't control when she can be on. In the meantime, Chance and I take care of each other.

Last night she needed to be held tight and reassured. I was happy to oblige.

I love this pretty girl. She has rapidly become a nice friend.

We will be ok. PK will be back sooner then later. In the meantime, Chance and I watch out for each other. We check in every day and do our best to cover what Ms Katie Parx was able to give both of us. - unconditional love and caring.

Every Tuesday at 4pm SLT, the ever lovely Cinder hosts a spooky story time at Bun Bun Noodle House. It's 3 hours of modern spooky and intriguing tales and a wonderful time with warm people sitting by the fire in the BBK Library.

It's nice to be cozy with friends and share the tales together.

2023 was a rough year health wise and sadly, in the latter part, romantically, but I am better healthwise though and also a lot better off without Becca.

I have been getting out a lot more in both worlds because my health is improving fast and just being more "me".

I'm also not stuck to the phone 5 nights a week listening to Becca road rage a big rig down the interstate. Sleep is underrated.

It feels good to be by myself again.

Tonight I sit and watch as Felina DJ's my eclectic little Beach Club and puff on my little pipe as I think about how lucky I am to have so many loving friends in both worlds - something my ex can't say the same of.

I will be ok. Life goes on and it goes on rather well. It's a shame she didn't want to stick around for the ride, but I am still not travelling alone as I know I am still loved by many who travel with me.

You know...life is hard...but you must never stop fighting for yourself and what's right.

Always cast out into the universe good, but never expect it back and it will come. Cast out bad? Karma will find you with it to return it.

Our Katie is away for reasons she beyond her control, so Chance and I take care of each other and wait for Our Katie to return.

It's taken both of us to fill in the roles for each other that one Katie Parx did.

We also keep each other grounded and feel loved because we do love each other.

Hobbes is of course being a "Very Brave and Handsome Tiger" between us. He makes sure we both are safe...he's also a cuddle slut ;-)

We are protected from the storm. We shelter in place until Our Katie returns...

Chance and I have become amazing friends. For AGES I have wanted to step out on friend date with her and FINALLY we got to!

We went to Fogbound because the music is good, the dance machines always updated and the place crowded enough that nobody knows us.

She wore the sweetest dress, so I wore the swankiest slacks and we just danced the night away.

Both of us have had experiences there with people who later didn't do right by either of us, so us, together there, rewrote over allll the bad as we made some good memories together.

I have been spending time with Chance - my dearest Katie's eldest daughter - while our lovely Katie is away. Chance herself has a lovely daughter of her own - Charlotte.

I am not a member of the Parx family, but they sure go out of their way to take care of me as I push to take care of them until Katie Parx gets back.

Charlotte is an extremely dear girl so devoted to her mother and Nan. She's very polite, charming and sweet - a very good girl in the best of ways.

As you know, Chance often crashes over with me and it has been lovely. We care for each other as loving friends and now? Now I love that Charlotte feels welcome and comfortable enough around me to do the same.

I have been lucky to have been around some amazing names in SL in the DJ world who just suddenly sparked and rocket off bright like fireworks, being lifted quickly by clubs, festivals through their talent and hard work. I can count on one hand how many though over the last decade.

DJ Asaria Obscure played right through my soul last night. She worked her butt off even though it was just us and I haven't LITERALLY shaked it like that since *smiles*...well... awhile :-)

The icing on the cake is she is an AMAZING PERSON as well and when I anchored so we could just float as she played? We got to talk. :-)

This is one of the 124 photos of 148 I had posted before that Flickr's servers ate for some unknown reason. A team of 6 took three days at Flickr to get them all back for me. I got the pictures which captured moments in my life, but sadly not the journal with them. At least I have the pictures and can try to put context back.

This was taken at the sadly now gone "Wintermoon" sim. It was my favourite by far in SL and was where I went to escape. Each time, I went there, I felt "pulled" to an area I hadn't seen before and always, always felt peaceful once there.

This spot was found by my friend Meghan. It was where Wintermoon had pulled her and after logged, I snapped this.

She is sadly gone from SL just like Wintermoon is now, but I still have her warm memories in that warm sim to make me smile and shed some tears.

Ms Isa Rae? We've in a short time been through some extreme good times, but also some extreme times.

My dear Katie Parx is still away often and poor Cynthia can't be on for awhile due to RL, but I still get to speak to them through Discord and they love me simply and freely as I do them.

I have friends here who take care of their RL struggles outside in RL so they don't bring them here. I always have a shoulder for them and they for I as they are all mature, love SL and their friends and family in it openly, honestly, simply and most importantly - maturely

For three years I have been inundated with walking dumpster fires, narcissists, liars, deniers, schemers and some of the most insecure gas lighting people you never want to meet.

They are all gone now. The bad girls. GONE gone. Now? Now I wish and hope it is back to how I loved SL before: simply.

I get to be me again, DJ wildly, take photos everywhere, flirt like mad, explore SL with fun friends and run my little burlie club.

I get to sail my boat.

I get to sleep peacefully with Hobbes.

I get to love freely...simply...

I wish it would last....dear Goddess please let it last...I want this world to be my freedom once again and not a place of fear and hurt...it is too beautiful for that.

So here I am, with Hobbes as he is a very Brave and Handsome Tiger, on top of little pink and white tear drop camper, parked on the Parx estate and just...gazing at the stars above me in SL and wishing...

Wishing upon those stars...

I hope my dreams come true. All around me do too.

Amy Winehouse will always be one of my favorite singers. This album is more than just an album, it is probably the best album of the decade, in my opinion, the lyrics are amazing, and I can't wait to buy more copies.

(the book, by the way, is the hunger games: catching fire by suzanne collins & i encourage everyone to go buy the series because it's rather incredible. also, the lyrics are from do wah doo by kate nash, which i also love.)

We saw a lot of men walking round holding hands in Kathmandu but my Nepalese friend explained this is a normal thing for two male friends to do...... Funny thing is seeing a male / female couple holding hands in Nepal would be a rare thing as it wouldn't be considered 'proper'.......

I don't often take shots from the hip but here I think it worked really well as I was only a metre or two behind my subjects with a wideangle lens.
