A huge peice of Juniper (I think it's a Juniper or something related) was growing through a section of our fence. My Brother cut it down so he can fix the fence.

Afterwards, my Mom, my other Brother and I, started to cut it down to tiny pieces for the compost bin.

We collected a total of three five-gallon buckets full of the leaves.

This beautiful specimen of a juniper had lots of blue berries on it. At Klondike Park.

Juniper (on lefty) and Mama rose and father and mother to Mirabelle (lying down behind Mama Rose) and Pablo (not in this photo). Juniper and Mama Rose were rescued from a terrible abuse situation, and Mirabelle and Pablo were born at Tamerlaine Sanctuary a short time later.

I have been taking pictures at farm sanctuaries for fourteen tears. This is only the second time I have photo graphed a family where both parents were present.

I stood there shooting individual juniper sprigs for an embarrassing amount of time. This was my favorite.

I decided to try cropping out the porta-potty and the car. I don't do a lot of cropping, but I think this is a great improvement!

This is my friend Juniper's house, just outside of Friday Harbor, WA. She runs a guest house called Juniper Lane Guest House. It is a delightful place and I've been staying there regularly since she opened it in 2004. If you are ever going to Friday Harbor, I highly recommend staying there. Tell her Ryan the bike geek from Portland sent you.

This is the view from the back deck. I love the green bike in middle of the shot. I need to edit out the spot in the top left corner, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

The skate park at the Juniper Community Center features 4 bowls for skaters of any skill level. It also has several street elements including fun boxes, stairs and rails.
