After hiking up Old Baldy, we walked on the beach back to the parking lot in Whitefish Dunes State Park.

The blooms of the hosta are really not why we grown them as they often take second fiddle to the beautiful foliage. But this is pretty spectacular, as it emerges up through the foliage, dotted with morning dew and light.
