This picture just made me think of that song by The Rolling Stones.
Had a photo shoot a couple days ago out at a place formerly owned by Steve Miller of the The Steve Miller band. I was working for the same couple who hired me to photograph their Fjord mare, Becca if you remember pictures I posted of her.
This time they had 3 mules for me to photograph. It was an all day long job but fun.
We had to get conformation shots (left side, right side, front and back with saddle and without saddle). Pictures of them being ridden while the rider carries a flag, ropes and drags around a tarp, sometimes completely covering the mule's head as they're walking.
Going up and down steep stairs, walking through water, stepping up on a bridge over the water, stepping up onto a huge semi tire, going across a teeter totter, and one of the mules actually easily stepped up onto a flat bed trailer as it was being pulled by a truck and the mule stood nicely on the flatbed with his rider on his back as the truck moved along. It was pretty cool.
Anyway, it was fun but I've been completely immersed in this. This is done so these mules will hopefully get selected for an exclusive on line auction for sale. Fingers crossed
Mules may not have the stunning beauty of Gypsy horses but I have great respect for mules.
As seen from the aft deck of my cruise ship at sunset, a dolphin leaps in the Atlantic waters off the shores of the Bahama Islands.

J742 getting on 9 Track at CP Robbins with a Conrail veteran leading the way. A nice change to see something different from the almost constant DPU gevos on the New Rock trains.

I was born in a crossfire hurricane
And I howled at the mornin' drivin' rain
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas
But it's alright, l'm Jumpin' Jack Flash it's a gas, gas, gas
I was raised by a toothless bearded hag
I was ruled with a strap right across my back
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas
But it's alright, I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash it's a gas, gas, gas.
I was drowned, I was washed up and left for dead
I fell down to my feet and I saw they bled
Yeah, yeah and I frowned at the crumbs of a crust of bread
Yeah, yeah, yeah I was crowned With a spike right through my head
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas But it's alright, l'm Jumpin' Jack Flash it's a gas, gas, gas!

Stumbled on this old gem while browsing through my large archive of photos. I didn't even remember having taken it. Goes to show how many other cool photos must get buried in the archive and never see the light of day again.
Photo taken with a Pentax K100D.
