Most spiders get bad reputations from the true dangerous spiders but no spiders are purposefully out to hurt humans. Most bites are in an act of self defense and their venoms true purpose is for preying for food.
[Adorable in my opinion ;) ]

I captured this image of a jumping spider on a south facing kitchen wall in my garden. This is my second outing with my knew macro lens, again chuffed with the result!
This is one image as I couldn't get an in-camera focus stack as the little critter wouldn't stay still long enough!!
Thanks for taking the time to view my images. I am happy to receive feedback.
An overcast, cold day on Fire Island. My grandson didn't understand why I wanted to drive to the beach on a cold, early spring day when we couldn't go in the water, but ended up joyously racing the waves. Robert Moses State Park, Fire Island National Seashore, New York -- April 13, 2022

And if you're in Los Angeles tonight you should go to THIS.

October means the come back of the amazing event, Trick or Trot created and hosted by Evergarden Equestrian. As I got that new pretty mare not so long ago, I kinda want to try her out on jumping as she was sold as a jumping horse and well.. How to say that she MIGHT be a good jumper but she have way too much gas over the jumps, we gonna need to train that before think about the competitions.

Jumping sticks are a very thin type of grasshopper (family Proscopiidae). They look remarkably like stick insects, until up close you see they have jumping legs like a grasshopper and this noble visage, which is unmistakably grasshoppery, if a grasshopper went through a taffy-pulling machine. Pelegrina, I think. Natural settings are ideal, but the hood of a car can make an interesting photo...

Jumping Spider
Another of my Jumping Spider series of photos, captured with a Nikon D610, Sigma 150mm Macro & Raynox DCR250 Super Macro Adapter. The shot settings were 1/60 seconds, f/11, ISO 2000 and the photo was run through Topaz Denoise AI to remove the Noise, then it was edited in Skylum's Aurora HDR to bring out the shadows and highlights before being finished off in Skylum's Luminar 4 (AI Enhance & Structure AI). I ran the photo through affinity to remove some of the dirt from the porcelain tile the spider was sitting on which was distracting, the blue surface is the reflection of the sky from the black porcelain tile.

The polar bears of Churchill have left and are out on the sea ice hunting. Let's all wish them much luck during their season of feast. The cams have shut down until next years migration begins which means my work is finished.
I need some time to recoup and relax. I'll be away from Flickr for a while. See you soon!
