On a recent photo walk with a photo buddy around York (the Ye Olde original and not the ‘New’ fangled version across the pond), we explored some of the Snickleways; alleyways to you and me. There are tons of these around the city, which can offer some interesting photo opportunities.
This particular one opens up onto Judges Court, which from 1720 until the early 1800’s served as lodgings for judges presiding over the Assize Courts in the city, and which is now a hotel.
I watched for a long time for the colors to change as the sun descended behind the hills to the southwest. I had a feeling there would be a colorful sunset, judging by the shape of the clouds and the strong yellow near the horizon. I grabbed my DSLR, went out on the front porch, and grabbed a handful of shots as the colors went from yellow to orange to pink, finally fading to leave the sky gray

Judge, Juror, and Executioner....
A quick semi purist figure I wanted to make. I have actually not seen wither of the Dredd films, but I do hope to watch the 2012 one soon. I am not to interested in the cheesy Silverster Stalon one.
This figure is a combination of his comic appearance and his 2012 film appearance. His helmet is a magneto helmet (Idea from The_Lego_Guy) repainted and his head is the Green Arrow head with the visor painted on. I may not like the GA head that much but the mouth is perfect for Dredd. His pauldron was painted to match the gold on the helmet. I gave him dark green hands like his comic counterpart, but I went with black rather than dark blue like the film.

Spotted this guy outside a coffee shop in Toulouse. I believe he may be an artist at a local tattoo parlour nearby - That's just a hunch.
