The Judges' Lodgings, formerly a town house and now a museum, is located between Church Street and Castle Hill, Lancaster, Lancashire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The building is the oldest existing town house in Lancaster, and was also the first house in Lancaster to have shutters.[2] It was used by judges when they attended the sessions of the Assize Court.
Use of the house by visiting judges ended in 1975, and the building was converted into a museum; featuring a museum of childhood, and the Gillow furniture collection.

The mean girls are judging u.
(I jest. Also, looking at this photo, with the grand dame and the newest arrival, I am reminded I've been doing this now on and off for over a little over ten years at this point. ą² _ą² )
Congratulations Ms. Toreador! This piece reminded us all of Alice and Wonderland, mysterious and curious; curious to see how that lovely dress fit on us! Well done!

6th plate daguerreotype of an older man looking down on you with quite the scowl. He looks as if he is looking down on you and has strong opinions about the matter lol. In all seriousness I could see him being a judge and probably a no nonsense one that ruled swiftly and with an iron fist. I like him he is a great character. Even though he has a bit of a scowl he looks as though he might have been a handsome man in his youth.

Combined by Glenn Sapaden from models by Stephan Delecat and Karen Thomas
One of our local judges announced he was diagnosed with ALS. To honor him, several of the local attorneys decided to throw him a surprise "birthday" party. I had to come up with a quick upbeat speech and an even quicker origami gift. I wrapped the Delecat Shirt & Tie inside Thomas's gown and came up with a judge's robe
