Governor Phil Murphy today signed legislation (A1649), which protects the home addresses and telephone numbers of judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers from public disclosure. The bill, known as “Daniel’s Law,” is named in honor of Daniel Anderl, the late son of U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas. Daniel fell victim to a senseless act of gun violence committed by an individual who had compiled a dossier of personal information about Judge Salas, including the judge’s home address. The bill was signed into law in Trenton on Friday, November 20, 2020. (Edwin J. Torres/Governor’s Office).

Judge Droney was appointed United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut on September 18, 1997, and entered on duty September 22, 1997. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Holy Cross College in 1976. In 1979, Judge Droney received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was Notes and Comments Editor of the law review. From 1979-93, Judge Droney was engaged in the private practice of law in Hartford, specializing in trial work. He was a partner in the Hartford law firm of Reid & Reige, P.C. On October 21, 1993, Judge Droney was appointed United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut and served until his appointment in 1997 as District Judge. While United States Attorney, he was a member of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee of United States Attorneys. Judge Droney was elected to the Town Council of West Hartford in 1983, and served as Mayor of West Hartford from 1985-89.

On May 4, 2011, President Barak Obama nominated Judge Christopher Droney for a seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

A perfect October Sunday in rural Isabella county southwest of Mt. Pleasant.

In June 2010, almost a dozen tongues and countless tastebuds converged on the tony Riverstone Chop House in Suffolk to sip, swirl (and spit – they had to drive home) some 150 vintages from 24 Virginia wineries.

For the third year, judges of the Virginia Wine Lover Magazine Wine Classic examined some of the best offerings produced across the commonwealth, and evaluated each based on its own individual merit.

I served as chairman and lead judge for the event.

Wine experts spent the day with glass-after-glass of wine – offered blind – and scribbled with nubby No. 2 pencils on sheets printed with a grid of the UC Davis 20 point system. The Davis system assigns a certain number of points to each of its ten categories.

Later, as tired palates rested, the sheets were totaled to obtain an overall rating. Once results were tallied, we compiled the averages into four levels – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The winners are announced in the Fall 2010 issue of Virginia Wine Lover Magazine (http://www.virginiawinelovermagazine.com) and on my blog (http://www.patrickevanshylton.com).

The judges for the cow's that the young folks have raised.

The judges (for the animal shows) were beautifully dressed in bowler hats and suits, on a fantastically hot day. And I've absolutely no idea how they pick the best animal from the group. Is there a swimwear round, and do the animals all have to say they'd like world peace?

In this picture, the judges are deliberating, but it looks as though they are picking which of the two women (one with hat and one without in the mid-distance) should get the rosette.

Our Final 3. This is not easy.

The winner will receive a

10 page spread in POSE Magazine

a contract with CHICK Model Management

and a 100,000 Dollar Contract with MAC Cosmetics

And now for our Amazing panel of Judges

Masha Parker- Editor in Chief of POSE magazine

And Macie Radcliff- Supermodel of the World

Our Special Guest Judges Supermodel Mila! (RainbowDoll489)

You girls had two photo shoots. one was a Laurence of Arabia Editorial shoot, and the other a Beauty shot with Scarves. Lets jump right into it with Mei

Bridget- I like your photos, they are probably your best in the competition so far! You look expensive and high fashion! i really am shocked, in a good way!

Masha- I really love your Editorial shot. it looks very edgy and modern. it looks very editorial as well! I DON'T THINK I HAE EVER SEEN YOU LOOK MORE HIGH FASHION!

Mila- Love it! I love how historical it looks! There's a story to this, which I personally think is amazing. But the only problem is your eyes, they look a little sleepy, but the rest is stunning!

When I look at your editorial shot, it is just beautiful, once again there's a story! I love it, you made this shot look effortless and speak for itself, and that's what I love about it! This is something you would see in VOGUE Italia!

Macie- I Think you have improved a lot in a week. you don't look unsure or out of it, but in control. I finally see a real HIGH FASHION MODEL in this shot. and i see versatility! Your beauty shot and editorial shot do not look like the same girl. My only critisim is that it your beauty shot feels a little sleepy, and i would have like a little more alertness!

Lucie

Macie- You are going from strength to strength. i am suprized at how much you have changed in these photos. i like that we see two totally different sides of your ability!

Mila- Speechless, just speechless. I'm completely blown away by this photo! Look at the movement in this beauty shot! These shots, turned out amazing! There really isn't anything about these photos! Basically you nailed the photoshoot this week!

Bridget- I am seeing seriously international model material here. you look like a supermodel! i love the neck in your beauty shot and those eyes, those eyes! i cant them. i love your bone structure in these photos as well.

Masha- I like how you were the fashion. you understand the clothing and I think that is consistant in your work. there is an efortless ease in the way you move your body and your face is just exquiset. It also shows that you dont only have to hide behind your fringe to have a good photo!

Gabrielle

Mila- Wow! Simply wow! This beauty shot is one of your best shots to date! Everything is working in this photo! If only there was some neck, this photo would've been better! When i get to your editorial shot though, Hmm, I'm not a too much of a fan of this shot. I feel like the clothes are wearing you, and not you wearing them. The scenery is soo beautiful and stunning, use it! But I think what is saving you is your eye contact in the shot.

Masha- I agree with Mila, the beauty shot works great and i love your skin. i think this COULD be an ad campaign beauty shot. When i get to your Editorial shot, i dont feel as emotionally invested in the shot. i like elements but overall, its not my favorite.

Bridget- You've done so well in the last few weeks, and i do feel a slight step backward in your work this week.for me, i dont feel connected to your beauty shot or editorial, i would have liked to see a little more of YOU in the photos.

Macie- i see more possibilities for you as far as being able to do HIGH fashion. but for the most part, im not inlove with these photos. you have improved a lot though and we can't forget that!

WOW! do you see how close this is? this will not at all be an easy desicion, but when i call you back ill announce who will be going home.

I am the law!
