Joy is a marvelous increasing of what exists, a pure addition out of nothingness.

Not the calmest of conditions or sharpest of lenses...but look what brought a huge smile to my face this week - the first common blue of the year!
Thank you so much to everyone for all your faves, comments and encouragement - I appreciate every one of you so much, but once again I'm behind with comments.
Working from home is involving so much screen time I'm finding it really hard to take on any more, but being out with the camera daily and spotting the changes in nature is my medicine.
I will try my hardest to catch up very soon x
At the trail to the top of the Main Peak of Joy mountains. How I wish I could go there soon. Still semi lockdown here though there are just 29 new local cases, 4 deaths today.
Have a nice weekend my friends. :-)
A windy and cloudy day in the trails of Hehuam Mountain with my family. :-)
Mount Hehuan, also called Joy Mountain, is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the borders of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within Taroko National Park. Hehuanshan is a popular destination in central Taiwan. The 3,421-metre east peak and 3,422-metre north peak of Hehuanshan are both higher than the main peak.

I haven't been here (Joy Mountains) since our semi lockdown from the middle of May. I'm glad I was here again. Faced this beauty, I thank God and pray.

Snow, rare in the rest of Taiwan, is relatively common on Mount Hehuan during the winter months. Highway 14 leads to Wuling, a saddle between the main peak and the east peak of Hehuanshan. At 3,275-metre, Wuling is also the highest point of Taiwan accessible by highway. From Highway 14, a trail leads to the summit of the main peak. At the summit, there is a weather station.
