It is time to wake up to the rapidly rising global concern to save water and awaken every village, cities and towns to the impending danger of water scarcity. Let us #joinhands to save water for our future generations to sustain living on earth. ‘#WalkforWater’ is an initiative to spread #awareness among the masses to #preservewater, by using it efficiently.
Although water covers 75 per cent of the world’s surface, 97.5 per cent of the earth’s water is salty; of the remaining 2.5 per cent, much of it is locked away as groundwater or in glaciers.
