I was not a kid who ran screaming from Santas. I knew when I was in the presence of the real thing, and nothing could possibly go wrong.

Looking towards the Wanamaker and the Cunningham Piano building....

I used to be an organist, but I never played an organ this big!

Randy proposed to me right here, on October 30th. Awwwww!

This is a modern organ called the John Wanamaker Court Organ in downtown Philadelphia. It is the biggest organ in the world.

Count the keyboards. All those buttons on the right are called stops - they all make the organ produce different sounds when they are pulled out. If you want the organ to be very loud, you would "pull out all the stops." That is an expression that means "do your very best with everything you have." That is what I hope you and I are doing today!

My Dad also gave me this metal my Grandfather was awarded in 1937, for a children’s drawing competition. My Dad couldn’t draw to save his life, but my Pop Pop was pretty good. I remember he drew me and my brothers in charcoal when we were younger, from our school photos. Pretty neat little piece of his history. #grandpop #poppop #grandfather #williamhtaft #johnwanamaker #1937
