The John Lennon wall in Prague, has been “decorated” with graffiti and parts of Beatles’ songs since the 1980s and was a source of irritation to the Soviet occupiers, as young Czechs would write grievances amongst the graffiti. The original portrait of Lennon is now lost under the layers of paint which constantly change the look of the wall. Today the wall tends to be representative of global ideals (love and peace)??

The Imagine Peace Tower (Icelandic: Friðarsúlan [ˈfrɪːðarˌsuːlan], "the peace column") is a memorial to John Lennon from his widow, Yoko Ono, located on Viðey Island in Kollafjörður Bay near Reykjavík, Iceland. It consists of a tall tower of light, projected from a white stone monument that has the words "Imagine Peace" carved into it in 24 languages. These words, and the name of the tower, are a reference to Lennon's campaign for peace, and his song "Imagine".

In 1982 we married. I wanted the long veil that Princess Diana wore on her wedding day in 1981 and this song for our wedding. I didn't get either one. I gave the John Lennon record to my dad to give the DJ, unfortunately: he left it on the back dash of the car and warped. Not a purrfect wedding, a lot of things went wrong that day. After all these years, we are still married.

21st October 2015 - The John Lennon Peace Monument, also known as the European Peace Monument, is a peace monument dedicated to the memory of John Lennon in Liverpool, England. It was unveiled by Julian and Cynthia Lennon at a ceremony in Chavasse Park, Liverpool, on Saturday 9 October 2010 to celebrate what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday. The monument is now located adjacent to ACC Liverpool at Kings Dock on the Liverpool Waterfront.

Imagine is the second studio album by English musician John Lennon, released on 9 September 1971 by Apple Records. The album's lush sound contrasts the basic, small-group arrangements of his first album, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (1970), while the opening title track is widely considered to be his signature song.
Its lyrics reflect peace, love, politics, Lennon's experience with primal scream therapy, and, following a period of high personal tensions, an attack on his former writing partner Paul McCartney in "How Do You Sleep?"
Along with John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, it is considered one of Lennon's finest solo albums. In 2012, the album was voted 80th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

A statue of John leans against the wall opposite the Cavern Club. This wall, at the Cavern Pub, shows all the acts which performed in the Cavern over the years...a name on each brick, this being only a small section of the whole ; My brothers group, The Dions, have a brick here, they played The Cavern many times a few years after The Beatles.
Imagine memorial, Central Park West. A solemn place for all to pay respect, or tribute to a truly great man of the world. Also to hear some great music as well.

Numbered first pressing of the White Album. This is the real deal. I arranged the album and it's inserts on the funky background paper. I used my new mantfrotto lumie light mounted on my tripod and hand held my camera over the arrangement.
I painted this some time ago... the sign of the peace movement. Pray for the Ukraine and the whole world💖
