Street portrait from Glasgow, Scotland. Joanne Swinson CBE, is the current Member of Parliament for East Dumbartonshire , and has today been elected as the new leader of the Liberal Democrat Party.
She gave an impassioned speech on LGBTQ rights at the Glasgow Mardi Gla 2019 Pride March in George Square and following her speech I asked her if I could make a portrait. Sadly, with a security barrier between me and her, this was the only angle I could get the shot from so the harsh light has caused a little squinting of the eyes. She was, however, lovely and happy to pose. Enjoy!

This is me and my cousin, Jim back in 1963. I was 12 in this photo. It was taken in Northern Ontario in Canada.

Jo Burt is an English songwriter, storyteller, singer and guitar player possibly best known for his incredible history working with musical legends such as Freddie Mercury, The Troggs and Black Sabbath over the past 40 years. The last few years have seen Jo making a name in his own right with his project The Jo Burt Experience. Originally created as a songwriting development tool, in the last 3 years the band have become an outstanding live act playing festivals and venues around the UK, Europe and North America.
