This is what happens when a semi truck zooms though your long exposure shot, apparently!

A first build in anticipation for the Last Jedi to come out this December! Check out the album.
Everybody needs a desk buddy, right?
I was messing around with those turn table bases that I got in white from the Pick-A-Brick wall during BrickFair VA 2017. After putting an orange plate behind them, I realized it would really work for a tiny BB-8 build! Maybe not the best, but I like it. :) This size was very difficult.
Hope everyone had a nice holiday (if you had one)! This is just something small I was able to get done this weekend. I got something bigger done as well, but that won't be revealed until later this week. ;) Stay tuned.
You can also now view my BB-9E model!
May the Force of others be with you, everyone!

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's let LEGO be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it."

Bruce Lee - The Jedi .
I often wonder what if Bruce Lee were still alive today and part of our biggest Films ?
Location shoot at Malin Head (County Donegal, Ireland) along The Wild Atlantic Way commences on Friday 13th May through to Sunday 15th May 2016 - and most likely beyond. Director JJ Abrams, woops, sorry - Rian Johnson, will be working with a cast and crew of 300.

Spock's Ship from JJ Abrams' Star Trek reboot.
It's built to approximately minifig scale, and designed fairly closely to the prequel comic version of the ship, with some minor artistic license because the comic's pictures weren't adequate and the concept art is all quite conflicting.
The ship is a SHIP, measuring in at around 110 studs in length (just under 3 feet). Without the stand, it is 92 studs (around 30 inches) tall.
The stand is as robust as it is because so much of the weight of the ship is cantilevered. There is no photoshoppery involved, it really is supported entirely by the pillar at the front.
It is almost 100% tiled, with less than 10 studs exposed on the entire construction.
The project was started in late May, a few weeks after the movie was released. It took about 2.5 months to complete

A little while back I began a big group painting of the cast of my favorite TV show, Lost. Here's my progress on Jorge Garcia's character Hurley.
A screen-used phaser from the 2013 Star Trek movie Into Darkness.
The hand phaser is one of the most iconic props in Star Trek. There have been many different versions (movies, television shows, and streaming shows). I certainly have my favorite ones.
1. Star Trek The Original Series Phaser
2. Star Trek 3 The Search For Spock
3. Star Trek 5/6 The Final Frontier/Undiscovered Country
4. "boomerang phaser" Star Trek 7/8/9, Deep Space Nine, Voyager
5. Star Trek Reboot 2009/2013 (pictured above)/2016

Did you see the Star Trek movie from 2009 by J. J. Abrams already? He created amazing light-setups and pretty cool lensflares in this movie, so it's a great inspiration for every photographer!
I wanted to try this myself in photography and this is my very first result with this technique! You can find a behind-the-scenes with the light setup for this shot in this article on my blog.

I was watching J.J.Abrams' new TV show FRINGE and I noticed the location for the fictional Massive Dynamic in the show is Toronto's ROM Crystal designed by Daniel Libeskind. I remembered I have a series of photos that I shot the day after the opening of the crystal just before the collection was brought in so the empty museum looks pretty much exactly like the Massive Dynamic office in FRINGE.
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (2009 Reboot Edition)
I personally really enjoyed the 2009 Reboot movie and the Enterprise itself. The bridge was awesome as was most of the interior and exterior of the ship.
Made some changes to the curving of the rear on this sucker. Still not totally happy with the whole fighter, but I am pleased with these changes.
Let's take a look at what's inside the latest #starwars cover #timemagazine ... Less than a week to go till we get to see #theforceawakens ...and inadvertently it also means that it's less than a week to go till we read facebook/twitter/instagram comments from casual fans and wannabe keyboard warrior film critics on how many aspects of the film 'disappoint' them and how they could have done better than #jjabrams ....you know who you are 😅😅😅
