On Wednesday, 28th of April (2021); we were privileged enough to host some incredibly special participants, in our Novice Class, at our Mawson Lakes Dojo.

Sensei Dion and Senator Rex Patrick practiced Karate together, as teenagers, in their hometown in Whyalla.

It was fantastic to be able to share this opportunity with many of our Dojo’s Members.

Twice per year, we provide opportunities for our Dojo's members and competitors to practice, and develop their skills, in club 'Development Competitions'.

So far, in 2020, we have needed to postpone the scheduled events; but, will aim to include them, in the second half of the year.

These pictures are of our event in June 2019 - it was an excellent day.

We would like to acknowledge participants from other 'like-minded' Dojo's - Maya Karate Academy, and Mypolonga Shukokai. We are grateful for your support.

I have created a new YouTube video, to help our members to learn the Dojo Kun.

You can read it, and listen to it - it also gives a little description, to improve your understanding or the meaning of it.

April 3rd, 2007, was the very first Training Session, for the Salisbury Dojo.

Starting-out at Thomas More College, and Twelve25 Youth Enterprise Centre.

We moved a couple of times, before settling in, at the Denison Centre, in Mawson Lakes.

The Denison Centre has become the core of our Dojo; being the base for the development of the Jindokai organisation.

From 7 people, to well over 150 - humble beginnings to what is now, one of the biggest, most successful Karate Clubs in South Australia.
