"What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. I'll give you the moon." - George Bailey
It's a Wonderful Life is a movie everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. It may change your life. Either way, it definitely serves as a super reminder of what's important; what a joy to see such great truth communicated so elegantly and genuinely in a film. I'm so thankful for this movie. There's some things you just can't quite put into words. This movie is one of those things. I guess I shouldn't try, but the closest word I can think of is "masterpiece".
My minimalist poster is inspired by the famous scene in the movie where George offers the moon to Mary. I hope it brings you joy.

Just a random laugh. I think I told him he was sexy, hahah.

Date and location unknown but it would have been late 30s to 1942. My uncle, Norman W. Schroeder, is 5th from left.
I put together a short movie with some of the items from my aunt's estate, and 2 of only 4 known recordings of my uncle playing sax, with Jimmy Joy's orchestra.
See it here:
Now that is a class act. My mother has a room full of ribbons trophies and awards from her equestrian competitions.
Some of the things Uncle Norm brought home. Not shown is his duffel bag and contents: a German helmet, gas mask, flag, banner, and every letter he ever received from home. Musette bag, German leather ammo pouch, everything that he could stuff with letters.
My mother (right) and her ever present mentor Carol, who also taught me how to ride horses.
This is ocean beach Sanfranciso.
