Scottish Aviation-built Jetstream T.1 XX482 at RAF Fairford during RIAT 2003. This is one of 26 Jetstream 201s ordered by the RAF in 1972 which were modified and used as multi-engine trainers as the Jetstream T.1. Fourteen of these were subsequently modified as observer trainers for the Royal Navy, receiving the designation Jetstream T2. The Jetstream T.1 was retired from RAF service in 2003 with the introduction of Beechcraft King Air B200 which replaced it.

Scottish Aviation built Jetstream T.2 XX487 at Yeovilton in 2003. Based at RNAS Cauldrose, the Jetstream T.2 was operated by 750 Naval Air Squadron for observer crew training until 2011 when it was replaced by the Avenger T.1 (modified Beechcraft King Air 350ER) as part of the UK Military Flying Training System.
