With all the rumors of Jeep making a new pickup named the "Gladiator", I wanted to share this photo of the original. Loved this Jeep! It's been used, but never restored, a true survivor!

Based on the 1963 Jeep Gladiator. In goes the harpoon, down goes the plough, and slooooow goes the target.
Fellow builder and cool dude Grantmasters and I have been talking about collaborating on a Tremors themed project for some time now and one of the first things I wanted to make was Val and Earl’s hero truck.
The Tremors project would have to wait though because I’ll be heading out to Kuwait for LEGO Shows Kuwait (Oct. 15th-19th) and there I will display my Mad Max diorama.
Expanding my Jeep portfolio!
This 2020 Jeep Gladiator MOC is similar to the Jeep Wrangler MOCs that I did. This means that this MOC has a 6-wide chassis and can seat 4 minifigs.
I chose a covered bed because... well, I ran out of pieces to detail the bed. I'll let the covered bed be for now.

Imagine hanging on for a ride in those seats.
Outrageously overcompensating for the lack of roller coaster rides around here.

Jeep J10 | Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Pickup or J-series is a series of full-size pickup trucks based on the large Jeep SJ (Wagoneer) platform, which was built and sold under numerous marques from 1962 to 1988. The Jeep Gladiator/Pickup design is noteworthy for remaining in production for more than 26 years on a single automobile platform generation. The Gladiator was the basis of the first post-war U.S. Army trucks designed to be civilian vehicles and adapted to military use. Numerous versions of the Jeep pickup were built in other markets, including Mexico by Vehículos Automotores Mexicanos.

Introducing the non premium version of the Hot Wheels Fast & Furious themed 2020 Jeep Gladiator. I still consider them a bit overpriced for what is in effect basic Mainline features but strangely the addition of that plastic rear load cover almost makes it worth it! ;-p
For something so small it does give off a chunky rugged vibe and the plain metallic silver colour does suit it.
Found recently at Smyths Toys though they can also be found at B&M Bargains and The Entertainer.
Mint and boxed.
Another brand new Maisto basic Fresh Metal casting and another sadly denied to us Brits. This end of the market is now almost completely catered for by HTI.
Nowhere near as appealing as their VW T2 Bus shown earlier but no worse than an equivalent Hot Wheels or Matchbox in terms of detailing and casting accuracy. Mint and boxed.
