What makes this boy most happy is to have his world quiet and as it always is, nothing out of place. From the beginning when we brought him home from the shelter, he has been reclusive, hiding under tables for hours. But he has grown to us and his personality is funny and sweet. He too loves being nearby, but without a camera! We are so fortunate to have our furries as part of our 'stay at home' family. Happy Caturday to all our friends. Stay safe.

Impossible to write this without feeling the place in my heart where JAX will always be.....This was the last photo I took of him trying to get his water from the kitchen faucet...a familiar pose that I posted often. He was a good cat...and I loved him. Thank you for the moment to remember our loved ones.

When there is a a lot of commotion and movement in the house, as it was with house guests recently, JAXson finds his security on his little round scratcher toy. He will sit there all day with some part of his body touching the circle. He is my masterpiece! Happy Caturday to everyone from the boys and me.

JAXson is better! We visited the vet a few days ago and he has had a good recovery from a respiratory infection. This moment in time is huge since he hasn't been near his favorite 'place' in three weeks. Of course the carpet is a precious textile as well. Thank you everyone for your good wishes for JAXson's recovery. The bonus bit is that the vet checked his chip and he was born in 2007, which makes him a bit younger than what we thought. Happy Saturday to all our friends, and stay safe and well.

Yesterday JAXson got outside through a left open door....he was out experiencing freedom for the first time in 5 years! I found him under the deck only because his long tail was sticking up through the steps. Now, he sits by the door meowing...all day today..with that pleading look on his sweet face. The boys frequently change their preferred napping spots. The last few days we've found JAX nestled on the Eames lounge chair in the morning hours. He has a full view of the water and trees just outside the window. And, he can keep track of our comings and goings. Sweet boy JAXson...Happy Caturday everyone.
Jaxson was asleep until I slid open the door just a bit to take a quick photo. Of course he woke! He is sleeping in my studio closet in a pull out wire draw on top of a nest of quilt batting. He will be here all day. Happy Caturday everyone from the boys and me.

JAXson will sleep here al day, sometimes curled up to fit perfectly within that circle, and then stretched out so only his paw and face touch. Happy Cat urday everyone. (I'm unable to load to the group this morning because I have exceeded my limit (according to the pop up error message) ...lol. Maybe a kink in Flickr?)

My cautious boy.....he waited for Obby to move off the quilt before he came near enough to give it a good sniff and just long enough to get a photo. Sorry for the poor lighting...generators can only do so much. We have been without power off and on for two days. Happy Caturday everyone...
This was taken when JAXson was feeling better. He is now months into his malaise...the vet suspects Feline Herpes which is treatable with steroids. We have an appointment Monday. Regardless, this gentle boy always makes me smile for his quiet charming shy introverted ways. Happy Caturday everyone and Happy New Year 2021.
