"Look Into My Dreams, Awilda" is a 39 foot resin sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa presently on display in Chicago's Millennium Park. Ten years ago, Plensa created "Crown Fountain," one of the park's centerpiece attractions.

I call this 'capitalism' as this depicts the world we live in today. Many sad people who are having difficult times keeping up with the cost of living today. Many holding multiple jobs to keep a roof over their heads. What has become of us. Taken in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Wonderland sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. I went inside the sculpture to get this view. It's a female face.

Jaume Plensa ,artista di fama internazionale, abituato a confrontarsi in contesti e spazi pubblici , conquista Bordeaux. con una retrospettiva che si snoda su un percorso di rara suggestione.
La cornice è quella di eleganti palazzi del Settecento, affacciati su magnifici boulevard, incastonati tra parchi lussureggianti e chiese gotiche.
Effetto di stupefacente armonia per le realizzazioni dell’artista catalano, enigmatiche e fragili figure di pensatori contemporanei, assorti in uno sguardo che punta indifferentemente verso l’orizzonte più remoto e alla scoperta delle proprie più intime e segrete profondità.

Constitué d’une dentelle de lettres majuscules en acier blanc, il évoque une silhouette humaine aux formes courbes, assise devant la mer, une jambe repliée contre sa poitrine.
Sa face est ouverte, les lettres s’y arrêtent soudainement, comme effacées par la beauté du paysage qu’il contemple. Cette ouverture introduit un côté ludique dans cette œuvre à l’intérieur de laquelle on peut pénétrer.
Jaume Plensa décline ici sa thématique de prédilection : le rapport entre le mot et le corps. L’amoncellement incohérent de lettres qui forment le Nomade, fait de l’homme une créature qui tiendrait sa consistance d’un langage en perpétuelle évolution.

Made of a lace of capital steel letters in white steel, it evokes a human silhouette with curved shapes, sitting in front of the sea, one leg folded against his chest.
Its face is open, the letters stop there suddenly, as if erased by the beauty of the landscape it contemplates. This opening introduces a playful side into this work inside which one can penetrate.
Jaume Plensa declines here his favorite theme: the relationship between the word and the body. The incoherent heap of letters which form the Nomad, makes man a creature which would hold its consistency of a language in perpetual evolution.

...oder auf deutsch "wir" - so heißt die 5 m hohe, aus stählernen Buchstaben, Zahlen und Formelzeichen gefertigte, begehbare Skulptur des katalanischen Künstlers Jaume Plensa.
Sie war mein persönliches Highlight des Würth'schen Skulpturengartens.
Gerade mit den federleichten Wolken am wieder sonnigen Himmel ergab sich eine wundervolle Korrespondenz zwischen dem Kunstwerk und der umgebenden Natur.

Jaume Plensa Suñé is a Spanish plastic artist, sculptor and engraver. A very versatile artist who has also experimented with drawing, opera sets, video projections or acoustic installations. He is known for his large sculptures made up of letters and numbers.

The Bow is the most recognizable building in the Calgary skyline. You can see it from almost anywhere in Calgary and it is an impressive skyscraper. All pictures and postcards of the Calgary skyline had to be updated once the Bow was completed in 2012. It is that impressive.
Spanish artist Jaume Plensa created a giant sculpture called Wonderland at the base of The Bow. The wire mesh piece stands 39 feet high and resembles a young girl’s head. (It was actually inspired by a real girl in Spain.)

LE SILENCE DE LA PENSÉE is an amazing exhibition by a Spanish artist in a little town in the south of France, almost in Spain. Here I've used one of the gallery attendants in silent thought to add my own touch to his art. Handheld at 1/5th sec not recomended. This piece part of "Continents".
I was leaning on a wall with elbow and head acting as bipod and IS doing the rest..
