Jason Todd, Batmans greatest failure.
Quick shoutout to everyone that voted to kill him off, resulting in one of DCs most badass characters.
Just a quick pic of my favorite Bat-family member (besides Batman.) I have more stuff coming soon, so for now enjoy!
Jason Todd Robin: 2006 Robin Head, LBM Robin Legs, Torso, and Cape, and Robin Arms.
Redhood: pretty much Official.
[DC] Lego Batman Batcave Trophy Room Memorabilia part 2
Memorable costumes: Jason Todd's Robin costume, Red Hood's costume, Thomas Wayne's batsuit
So I just realized that Jason Todd has been Red Hood for just over 15 years now and that’s pretty wild! I remember waaaay back when Jeph Loeb brought him back and how crazy it was that he was gonna be DC’s Bucky Barnes but more edgy because of Batman and just… yeah it was intense... man, time flies when you’re a crazy abandoned sidekick…
Anyway, here’s something kinda relevant to the 30-some year run this kid has had; Jason’s current-ish place in comics as the host of his own team book, Red Hood and the Outlaws!
Figbarf for my DCIDSG Batman series.

Dick Grayson Robin: Really like how he came out. went with brighter green with him.
Nightwing: Painted the red eyes on the new Nightwing head white. Might touch them up at some point.
Tim Drake Robin: You've seen him before, bu I still love his look. Inspired by sharpspeed.
Red Hood: Again, seen him before. Still works amazingly.
Jason Todd Robin: This was the hardest for me to design. I played around with him having a baleclava, and no mask, but in the end i settled with what you see.

I prefer this version of the team compared to the previous version with Arsenal and Star Fire. However, I still like both teams. I'm still pissed that this is another team that has suffered from DC. Bizarro and Artemis are gone and now Red Hood has been disgraced from the Bat Family. To add insult to injury, Jason's best friend Roy Harper died. These characters can not catch a break.
That being said, these figures are awesome. Bizarro and Red Hood are from Poppunkmunky and Artemis is from Engineerio on eBay.
Red Robin is a name that has been used by several vigilantes associated with Batman. The identity was first seen in the future timeline in Kingdom Come where a middle-aged Dick Grayson reclaimed the Robin mantle and became Red Robin.
His uniform is closer to Batman's in design than any previous Robin uniform. In the altered timeline following Kingdom Come, it was revealed that this Red Robin was not Dick Grayson, but rather Jason Todd, who appeared under the cape and cowl.
This was the first time the identity had been used in the main timeline reality. After Jason Todd, Ulysses Armstrong briefly appeared as Red Robin. Then in 2009, Tim Drake took the title of Red Robin. Drake was the third Robin before assuming the Red Robin persona.
Jason Todd
In the "Bat Bunker" (Earth-51's equivalent to the Batcave) Jason donned the outfit as he and the Earth-51 Batman joined the fight raging above the bunker.
During a battle with a group of Monarch's soldiers, Earth-51 Batman is killed by the Ultraman of Earth-3, deeply affecting Jason. In his grief, Jason murders an alternate version of the Joker who mocks his loss, vacating alongside Donna, Ray, and Kyle to the planet Apokolips before Earth-51's destruction.
Jason kept his new suit and identity for the rest of his tenure as a "Challenger of the Unknown", only to discard it on his return to New Earth and revert to his "Red Hood" street clothing.
At the start of Countdown, Jason Todd resumes the persona of the Red Hood and rescues a woman from Duela Dent (Two-Face's daughter).
After a Monitor shoots and kills Duela, he attempts to kill Jason, but is stopped by a second Monitor. This second Monitor apologizes to Jason before they both disappear, leaving Jason alone with Duela's body.
Later, at Duela's funeral, Jason hides until all of the Teen Titans have left except Donna Troy. Jason tells her what happened the night of Duela's death, and about the dueling Monitors. He knows that both he and Donna Troy have had near death experiences, and wonders which of them is next on the Monitor's hit list.
The two are then attacked by the Forerunner, but before she can kill them, the apologetic Monitor stops her, and recruits Jason and Donna for a mission to the Palmerverse (a section of the Nanoverse discovered by Ray Palmer), in an attempt to find Palmer.
During the trip, Jason takes it upon himself to name the Monitor "Bob". Jason seems to have a romantic interest in Donna, and is shown to be visibly disgruntled when her old boyfriend, Kyle Rayner, joins their group as they take their tour to the 52 Earths which comprise the Multiverse.
Ulysses Armstrong
A new Red Robin appears, at first only as a glimmering image following Robin (Tim Drake) and suspected to have stolen a briefcase of money from the Penguin.
Tim initially suspects Jason Todd of reprising his Red Robin persona. However, Jason claims innocence, supposing that someone may have stolen his suit when he discarded it earlier.
The new Red Robin breaks up a scuffle between Tim and Jason, and later is revealed to be Ulysses Armstrong. He has come into possession of the Red Robin costume worn by Jason Todd, and uses it as part of a campaign of psychological warfare against Tim Drake.
More formidable than ever, he is revealed to be holding Lonnie Machin, a former vigilante, hostage and to have commandeered the latter's identity as "Anarky". Where Machin's approach as Anarky had been to cause social change, Armstrong's approach bordered more on psychotic and meaningless acts of chaos and destruction.
Armstrong later changes costumes when he reveals himself to be the new Anarky, and after being severely burned in an explosion, an embattled Tim Drake dons the less-revealing Red Robin costume to hide his wounds (he later returns to his standard uniform).
Tim Drake
After Dick Grayson takes up the mantle of Batman, he gives the title of Robin to Damian Wayne, claiming that Robin is a student of Batman and that he sees Tim as an equal. Tim begrudgingly accepts.
Tim goes on to tell Spoiler that he will be leaving Gotham for an unspecified period of time. He is now the new Red Robin—an identity that is already tarnished and independent of the Bat-family—traveling the world searching for Bruce Wayne.
Meanwhile, while doing his search, Tim is being monitored by Ra's al Ghul, who appears not only interested in Tim himself, but also Tim's quest for Batman.
Tim's Red Robin costume consists of a long-sleeved red shirt or tunic, along with black boots, tights, gloves, and a black cape and cowl. It also includes a black-and-gold utility belt with other utility storage devices (similar in appearance) crossing over the chest in an "X" shape, meeting at a circular Red Robin insignia.
Aside from the trademark bo staff, grapnel guns, and a customized red motorcycle for transportation, Tim also uses throwing discs (similar to batarangs, but circular and adorned with the Red Robin insignia), the latter also used by the previous wearers of the Red Robin costume.
Alfred Pennyworth has slightly altered the costume while mending it after the uniform sustained significant damage after Tim's confrontation with Ra's al Ghul. The new features include a bulkier utility belt and black scalloped gloves similar to Batman's. The shirttails have been removed.
Tim's new cape also happens to be a "paracape", like Dick and Damian's, which gives Tim a gliding capability when it is semi-rigid.
Red Robin eventually rejoined the Teen Titans and took over as the team's leader after Wonder Girl stepped down.
In the new Earth 52 timeline, Tim is reintroduced as the leader of the Teen Titans. Tim will be in a team with other Bat-Family members as Red Robin. The team will be led by Batman and Batwoman and will also include Spoiler, Orphan, and Clayface.

CARNAGE (2015) # 6
The second terrifying arc of Carnage starts NOW! Jabulile van Scotter is a 16-year old South African girl sailing around the world! But she didn’t plan on a stoway in the form of the deadly serial-killer CARANGE. The titanic events of the first arc have sent the symbiotic psycho across the globe with the team trying to catch him far in his rear-view.
It so happens that Rocksteady Studios and DC Comics had teamed up on this design.
Here is what I'd consider a terrific redesign of Jason Todd's Red Hood character (I'm not much in favor of the New 52's Red Hood helmet). This helmet, the wardrobe... I really like it.
Turns out that it is becoming more and more difficult to acquire this figure. Of course I'm not going to open it... maybe...
The two active Jokers within my DC Universe: Jack Napier and Jason Todd

"...why? I'm not talking about killing Penguin, or Scarecrow, or Dent. I'm talking about him. Just him. And doing it because...because he took me away from you."

My interpretation of Red Hood, featuring a bad memory.
This fight happened around Jason’s revival as he targeted Tim and the Titans for not honoring him and memorializing him despite serving with the Titans (I’m with you Jason, at least Young Justice did that better) but I thought it was a cool fight to recreate since Jason dawns his Robin costume (modified with yellow legs in the comic) and with the new Tim fig I’ve been using I wanted to remake it.

really happy with the effect i did with this. I took photos of each then combined them like this.
Left to RIght
Beast Boy: seen him before
Raven: maybe my favorite. The cape and hood are from cape madness.
Robin: Nothing new i think
Cyborg: wanted to add more blue into the color scheme, so i changed the arms to translucent blue, which looks great.
Starfire: i added green into her eyes.
Here's my Jason Todd. I finally got a minifig head I'm satisfied in using for him. Pictured are all the versions of his Robin suit before he bit the dust.
Jason's Robin Costumes:
● The First Suit: as I've mentioned before, my Jason Todd design is heavily based on the B:TAS "Tim Drake" (I mean seriously, that was no Tim. Totally was Jason).
● The Second Suit: this one is pretty much the first suit but with black sleeves and red gloves (still a B:TAS overall theme).
● The Third Suit: as he gets more rebellious he adds more black to his costume. This costume is a homage to his suit's look in Young Justice.
Additional Costume Info
● The eye piece for his "mask" helps with investigations and aids with targeting while working in complete darkness.
● Though I forgot to take a picture of it, starting with his second suit Jason begins to wear a... wait for it... red hood with his costume. ; p
Anyways, that is my Jason's Robin for you. C&C is welcomed and greatly appreciated.
A really cool version of Jason Todd I discovered, I've wanted to make him for a while and he was a success to make. I like all of the detail I put on him.
Quite an abundance of reading material today....

Along the way, Jason meets two unlikely allies: a disgraced Amazon warrior named Artemis and a half-baked Superman clone called Bizarro—and the DCU’s “Dark Trinity” is born!
Completed version of the Jason Todd Memorial in the Batcave. Custom minifigure head with floating mask. Inspired by multiple DC Comics issues of Batman and Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
Well here are my versions of Robin from past to present.
Dick Grayson
This is a mock up of his "2nd suit", when he's roughly 17-18 yrs old, before he quits and becomes Nightwing. I'm thinking of erasing the logo and applying a more classic style logo like I did with Damian.
Jason Todd
Let me start with saying that his hair is actually the dark orange version of this hairpiece, I just couldn't find it. This might be Jason's 2nd suit (still tweaking the design), when he's roughly 16-17 yrs old. Before he bites the dust. Thinking of erasing this "R" as well.
Tim Drake
This is his 1st suit. Pretty straight forward.
Stephanie Brown
Here's what Steph looked like while she briefly moonlighted as Robin.
Damian Wayne
Here's the angry, "I'm going to beat all of you", little brat himself. He has a small Robin insignia decal.

C&C welcomed
Biggus Brickus made the suggestion to make Joker III Jason Todd, so I’m rolling with it
After Jason is resurrected by Superboy Prime, he attempts to go straight and becomes Red Hood, joining the Bat Family, much to the delight of Batman. But, the Joker still haunts him in the back of his mind, slowly overtaking him and turning him into a killer. The trauma from the night he died and from being brought back to life takes a toll on him, making him believe that he was never meant to be resurrected, that the hellish soul of the Joker had brought him back. He leaves the Bat Family in disgrace, after killing Condiment King with extreme prejudice. Disgraced and deranged, Jason Todd becomes the Joker, tattooing a J beneath his eye, the word damaged across his forehead, and bat wings off of his eyes. The original Joker finds Jason Todd’s insanity hilarious, and allows him to operate his own crime syndicate just because he finds “the bat being broken funny.”
