From the top, an impressive plateau, it is possible to contemplate the entire city of Rio and its surroundings – it is possible to see the Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer, the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, São Conrado and Barra da Tijuca, and even the mountains of Serra of the Organs. It's an unforgettable sight!

Palácio de Cristal - Crystal Palace

The metal and glass components of the Palace were manufactured in 1879 in Saint-Saveur-les-Arras, France; that kind of building was opular in Europe after the Industrial Revolution.
In 1888, four years after opening, Princess Isabel held a spectacular party here; at that historical event, she granted freedom to several slaes, and that was a prelude to her signing, a few months later, the law which abolished slavery in Brazil.

The view from Christ the Redeemer is breathtaking. It is possible to see Sugarloaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay, with Botafogo Bay in the center, and the cities of Niterói and Maricá in the distance.
The view from the top of the Christ the Redeemer statue is one of the most iconic and recognizable views in the world. From this vantage point, visitors can see the entire city of Rio de Janeiro spread out before them. The statue itself is a towering 38 meters (125 feet) tall and is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone. It was completed in 1931 and is considered to be one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The view from the Cristo Redentor is best enjoyed at sunrise or sunset. At these times, the city is bathed in a golden glow that makes the view even more spectacular.

Vinicius de Moraes (19 de octubre de 1913 - 9 de julio de 1980), cuyo nombre completo era Marcus Vinícius da Cruz de Melo Morais, nació y murió en Río de Janeiro, Brasil. Fue una figura capital en la música popular brasileña contemporánea. Como poeta escribió la letra de un gran número de canciones que se han convertido en clásicas. Como compositor dejó varias buenas canciones y como intérprete participó en muchos álbumes. También fue diplomático de Brasil.

Sugarloaf Mountain (Portuguese: Pão de Açúcar pronounced [ˈpɐ̃w̃ d͡ʒ(i) ɐˈsukaʁ]) is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Rising 396 m (1,299 ft) above the harbor, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. It is known worldwide for its cableway and panoramic views of the city and beyond.
The mountain is one of several monolithic granite and quartz mountains that rise straight from the water's edge around Rio de Janeiro. Geologically, it is considered part of a family of steep-sided rock outcroppings known as non-inselberg bornhardts.
The mountain is protected by the Sugarloaf Mountain and Urca Hill Natural Monument, created in 2006. This became part of a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 2012.[1]

Localizada em Niterói, a Ilha da Boa Viagem tem importância histórica e cultural. Durante o período colonial, foi usada como posto de observação para defesa da Baía de Guanabara. A capela dedicada à Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem, construída no século XVII, e as ruínas de antigos fortes fazem dela um marco histórico e turístico.
Located in Niterói, Boa Viagem Island holds historical and cultural significance. During the colonial period, it served as a lookout post to protect Guanabara Bay. The chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Boa Viagem, built in the 17th century, along with the ruins of old forts, make it a historic and tourist landmark.

Ontem resolvi passar o meu segundo CG! Pra minha tristeza o dia hoje amanheceu num cinza só e fiquei sem tirar foto! Ai, agora cheguei do trabalho e tá o maior sol!! Resolvi tirar a foto, mesmo as pontinhas já estando um tiquinho descascadinhas....acho que esse é a única coisa ruim desse esmalte! É lindo, fácil de passar e limpar, mais descasca facilimo!! (E olha que mesmo indo contra o que a maioria fala eu passei roxinho pra ver se ele durava mais!)
Eu vi o novo duochrome da BU (num blog) e tô maravilhada...não vejo a hora dele sair!!!!!!!!!
