In the quartier Butte aux Cailles I encountered some of the work of Seth (Julien Malland) who might have been participating in the annual street art project Lézarts de la Bièvre in the year 2018 or 2019 (not sure).
Seth
Julien Malland, better known under the pseudonym of "Seth" who initially signed "Set", born in Paris in 1972, is a Parisian urban artist known for numerous mural compositions of characters, often children, seen in three- quarter back (or three-quarter back).
Seth is a globetrotter artist, calling himself the original "globe-painter" and known to the general public as an author and host of television shows thanks to reports devoted to the urban art in many countries.
His subjects are often linked to childhood around the world, children often imagined in a space out of all gravity. The characters are also frequently represented three-quarter-back or sometimes without a discernible face and they (or they) generally have very fine outlines thus giving the impression of a representation with a brush with great mastery of colors and shadows.

Each year since 2001, the circuits leading to artists' studios are punctuated by a guest artist in the 13th and 5th arrondissement in Paris. The year 2014 is the year of street artist Jace having his art displayed all over the walls in the 13ème and 5ème arrondissement. "Lezarts sur les murs".
Famous Paris street artists had the honour as well in previous years; Miss Tic (2001), Jérôme Mesnager (2002), Nemo (2003), Mosko et associés (2004), Speedy Graphito (2005), Jef Aérosol (2006), FKDL (2007), Artiste-Ouvrier (2008), JanaundJs (2009), Da Cruz (2011), Philippe Baudeloque (2012) and Seth (2013). The year 2014 is the year of Jace.

Créée en 2001, l'association Lézards de la Bièvre a pour vocation de prendre toute initiative pour promouvoir les activités culturelles et artistiques au sein des quartiers traversés par le cours de la Bièvre à Paris, de la Poterne des Peupliers (Paris 13) à la Seine (Paris 5).
Elle regroupe plus d'une centaine d'artistes et créateurs. Elle organise, tous les ans, le deuxième week-end de juin, les portes ouvertes des ateliers d'artistes.
Founded in 2001, the association Lézards de la Bièvre aims to take any initiative to promote cultural and artistic activities in the districts crossed by the course of the Bievre in Paris, from the Postern of Poplars (Paris 13) to the Seine (Paris 5).
It has over one hundred artists and designers. It organizes every year, the second weekend of June, the open doors of artist studios.

Another good reason besides the beautiful mural of SETH (2019) are these two murals made by Jana & Js (Janaundjs) in the same street.

Jana and Js are a couple of artists whose work is inspired by the city and its ever-changing architecture, but also by those who live and observe it. Jana, Austrian, and Js, French, share their life between Salzburg and Paris.
Under Janaundjs' signature, they pasted numerous stencils in different districts of Paris, which always had the same theme: a photographer (he and she) scrutinizing the city through their lens - the urban gaze.
At the start of 2011, the town hall of the 13th arrondissement and Itinérance gave them the opportunity to show off in a big way, and certainly for a long time to come: here they are on a 20-meter high wall to film the life of the neighborhood - the consecration!
