Had a dickens of a time pulling the tab out of the 225. Two tabs came out at once, anticipation before peeling, expecting nothing. The first displays overlappage and the second, major goopage. They were born together, so that's how I'm presenting them here.

So after having a cold for a week and finally getting back on my feet the past couple days, I found I just did not have the energy to bake this week.
I'm feeling better, yes, but my energy levels are not at what they usually are and after getting the "musts" done around the house, I was just too tired to come up with something.
So luckily when I stepped outside the house yesterday, my neighbour was making his annual homemade jam, which inspired this shot.
It's not my usual, and there's no recipe, but hey, we're all entitled to an off week. Right?
Anyway, hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

I can't tell you how happy I was to see this guy today. I think I mentioned him last year in the thread about missed photo opportunities. I drove past him once on a cloudy day. He was leaning up against his 'vette and playing his saxophone to the ocean. It was such a perfect moment - but I was late for a dentist appointment which seemed important at the time. I kicked myself for ages about not stopping to take his photo.
Well, today I was given another chance! Totally different weather this time, it was in the 80's and sunny. As soon as I saw him I flipped a u-turn. He was kind enough to accommodate me by continuing to play while I bracketed my exposures.
I ran three exposures through Photomatix, then changed his license plate in Photoshop. Added a vintage tint, just because. :-)
