**STATLER HILTON LIGHT PAINTING WORKSHOP**
In association with the Spot Studio, I will be conducting a light painting workshop at the Statler Hilton Hotel on August 23rd! Come join me for this one-night, once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore and photograph this legendary Hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas, Texas before she's completely gutted and renovated.
The Spot Studio has arranged for exclusive access to the Statler Hilton Hotel before the interior demolition is complete. If you lean toward gritty interiors, urban exploration and like the challenge of painting with light in interesting interiors then you will definitely want to join us for this one.
The workshop will include an afternoon of classroom instruction on long exposure camera techniques and includes detailed tutorials on the light-painting process I use to create his images. We’ll gather for an early dinner and then go the Statler Hilton where you’ll attend a safety briefing, take a tour of locations and then have several hours to shoot in both daylight and nighttime conditions.

La Sauna Finlandese è una pratica fisioterapica consistente in un bagno di calore secco, intorno agli 80- 90°, in una apposita sala dove vengono utilizzati i benefici del calore per un buon rilassamento e una valida pulizia della pelle. Normalmente alternata alla neve fresca, la sauna aumenta le difese immunitarie favorendo il recupero da stress, tensione e sistema cardiovascolare. Evitare di fare la sauna a stomaco vuoto o troppo pieno, quindi eliminare i cibi pesanti e le bevande alcoliche. Prepararsi ad entrare effettuando prima una una doccia calda per aprire i pori della pelle e facilitare il rilassamento muscolare, poi asciugarsi bene per favorire la sudorazione. I piedi devono essere caldi; in caso contrario effettuare un pediluvio. La sauna possiede straordinarie capacità di rilassamento e di disintossicazione, con influssi positivi sulla mente e sul corpo: la pelle si purifica totalmente e grazie alla sudorazione si eliminano acidi e tossine. Il sistema neurovegetativo viene stimolato migliorando in generale tutto il metabolismo. Sul piano estetico, la diminuzione della cellulite e una maggiore elesticità dei tessuti sono quanto di meglio si possa ottenere abbinando alla sauna una sana dieta. Altrettanto evidenti sono i benefici estetici che derivano dalla profonda pulizia dell'epidermide. Sconsigliata per le persone con gravi cardiopatie.
I'm sitting in the Jacuzzi, all warm and relaxed. The built-in seats are really comfortable and allow me to easily throw my leg up in the air. I can wash it, caress it and enjoy how soft and smooth it feels even without the silk stockings that I normally wear. Somehow this makes me feel super feminine and very happy. What a joy to be all girly in the Jacuzzi!
My last shot from Albarracin: Ceri on a short-but-sweet roof problem called El Jacuzzi (6a) in Arrastradero. The rain just held off long enough for us to get this done, and have a good stab at the 6c line to the right of it too. A really awesome roof!
