I had to take Mizuki along, because she's my tannest Momoko. Not that the girls mind, of course. They entertain no romantic notions regarding Jack, regardless of what my son thinks.

The "ship" that Jack Sparrow is on is actually called sungkaan. Sungkaan is the board used for the game sungka, a two-player game where players take turns putting stones for in every houses until all stones are gone. Notice the details that was carved in this wood.
Here it is the finished portrait of Captain Jack Sparrow. This was a very involved drawing for me with tons of detail. It was a lot of fun to work on so many different textures in one drawing. It took me somewhere around 100 hours to complete and I may at some point include the background. I'm very happy with the way it has come out and looking forward to the next one.
I want to thank everyone that commented on, liked and shared all my other progression posts. I really enjoy hearing what you all have to say.

伟大的Jack Sparrow船长！灵感来自今年5月20号上映的《加勒比海盗4：陌生的潮汐》。跟同学去影院看完之后对德普再次萌生了无限仰慕之情，就趁热乎劲画了这个。
还没画完的时候拿给别人看，竟然说像什么印度阿三，把我气个半死……好在画完之后效果还不错！不过说起来杰克船长那古怪的妆容还真是杂融百家，颇有印度人的影子……
画的时候最纠结的是头发。我习惯了画柔光发亮的秀发，可德普这一头说不上是头发的东西画起来相当麻烦，据我观察上面挂了羽毛，麻线，骨头以及各种珠子和金属，有的还编成了小辫。感觉杰克船长其实满喜欢打扮的，只是方法特别了点，因为要自己弄出这么个造型并不轻松……
值得一提的是右边的海盗旗。因为拍照的时候教室的日光灯忽然开了，所以造成了照片的光线分布不均（左深右浅），而加工完成之后右边竟然有了一种被海水常年淋洗过的古旧感，实在是出人意料……
