A strong storm that swept through Jackson, Michigan on 7/12/2016.

Immediately following a phenomenal sunset, the sun lit up this cloud and settled over a barn in Rives Junction, Michigan.

On Thursday afternoon I'm wondering, will I have to mow the lawn this week? And on Friday morning I'm thinking, well, probably not!

In Jackson county, Michigan, just a little way from Tomkins. If you look through my Photostream, you can find this same field covered in snow... It's beautiful in any season!

Groundhog Day, 2022... it started snowing at 6 AM, snowing through the rest of that day and into the next. What a display of energy, thank you, sweet Jesus! In all, our neighborhood accumulated about 14" of snow (I shoveled the driveway four times throughout the day!) Did the groundhog see his shadow? I don't know how! So, should we expect an early spring? Either way, I live in Michigan. If you promise me no more than six more weeks of winter, I'd be thrilled with that!

The clouds were phenomenal. This one, in particular, looked like an alligator. Thus the name.

Amtrak Wolverine Service Train No. 350 (left) has been waiting for counterpart No. 353 to crossover in Jackson, Michigan. With 353 clear of the switches No. 350 should get getting a clear signal shortly.

This colorful mural, a creation of the Bright Walls initiative of Jackson Young Professionals is by Emily Ding. an artist who draws inspiration from flora, fauna, and human temperament. I took my photo during a visit to Jackson on September 27, 2019.
